  • Hi guys, today was day 6 of my preparation for the European Championship.
    I felt pretty good, I didn't have any major pain in my elbows or wrists. I know I have a lot of time to prepare for the Europeans but the competition is not easy so I must start as soon as I can 😅

    Interesting, my wrist strength seems to be very similar to yours but my back pressure is a lot weaker. Now I know that I have been overprioritizing wrist thanks to your vid!

    if im not mistaken the reason of that "levan cupping lift" being on the knee is ,cuz its 45 degrees so u have constant tension on your flexors for full rom. when yourarm parallel to the ground, after half of the rep, the weight doesnt directly hit flexors aka cupping muscles . just fyi. thanks for the vids.

      Yes, you are right 😅 but I found that with heavier weights I tend to move my knee lower so I can lift the weight, practically moving my hand into a similar position as the one I do on the bench. Also, I find it quite unstable to do that exercise from my knee. But I think this is a good alternative to that kind of exercise :D

      @@rinomasic7274 hey rino, thaks for reply. of course these things are very personal so if u are happy with the excercise theres nothing to say. but if u wanna imitate the 45 degree angle and all your probnlem is stability, you can try these on an incline bench which has same angle and better stability, just tryin to help please dont think im bein smartass :)

    Hello, are you using pyramid training increasing weights every set or linear one doing one working weight for 5x5 after warm up?

    Where does the [5 sets]*[3 reps] come from? Also, do you go the failure with these sets? If not, what is the 1RM percentage for the weight you are using or alternatively how many reps you think you could do with the weight if you would go to failure with it?

    it's very strange to squeeze the dynamometer..with his hand down, you need to hold him so that he also looks down.. and you have him looking away.. so your result will be less as you do it

    Hi Rino, how long are your workouts and how many time you workout a week?

      The length of the workout varies from day to day, but in general, it lasts about two and a half hours :)
      And I train every day of the week.

    hey rino, when you do 5×5 and when you do 5×3?
    or you just do 5×3 everytime?

      It depends on the amount of weight that I'm doing the exercise with 😅 if it is heavy, I do 5x3, and if it is a bit lighter than I do 5x5

      He might not care about targeting the fingers as much and just wants maximal loading on his wrist, he probably hits fingers with other exercises

      @@rinomasic7274 Its way better to stick with 100 kg... less bone structure opponents.. shorter levers.. etc.. cut it to 100 kg.. way better to stick with that weight class.
