  • Finally wrapped up the solid bushings install. The rear end is so stable, no squeaks or jolting like the poly's & stock bushings did.

    Mine doesn't whine like yours. Did you put the little rubber thing back between two little bushing and the car?

  • @brandoncastillo4549
    @brandoncastillo4549 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    How loud do you think it would be with the stock sub frame bushings and solid diff bushings? I’m debating going solids for the best performance over polyurethane but if they are too loud like this they may not be the right choice for a daily.

    • @Blyatarina
      @Blyatarina  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It wouldn't be too bad. Full rear poly bushings and a diff cover brace (Royalty Performance makes a great one) would work perfectly. I don't recommend solid diff bushings with stock or even poly subframe bushings due to the inability of the rear diff bushing to flex with solid as the subframe moves. You'll end up shearing the diff cover stud off in no time.
      So my recommendation for daily\heavy street use is the poly diff\subframe & Royalty Performance diff brace :)

    I purchased the isr solid bushing kit subframe/transmount/diff do you recommend using all the solid bushings? Or should I change the diff to poly. Also worried that I won't like sound transferring through the chassis from the diff whine. Not sure what to do need opinions. Daily drifter.

    • @Blyatarina
      @Blyatarina  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Anthony Civito for a daily I would still recommend the solid diff\subframe bushings. If you use the silicone washers provided in the kit you shouldn't experience this aggressive diff whine. I was an idiot and went without, now I'll be dropping the subframe to add the washers later down the road.

    Dang.. that whine is mad loud though, but in a sense it sounds good to me, like you're supercharged. Lol. I'm pretty sure you get so use to it that you don't even notice it anymore huh?
    I've noticed my rear diff bushing done leaked out and I have the hop and it tends to sway left and right at times at lower speeds.

    • @Blyatarina
      @Blyatarina  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      bman409 definitely sounds awesome but the noise is nearly as loud as my exhaust system! I'm more used to it now, however it's still not something that I'd recommend for a daily driver.
      As far as the hop\sway, the subframe bushings cause the sway, & of course a lot of the hop as well

      bman409 I'm still gonna call it your subframe bushings causing it mainly, but it could very well be tires. Stock transmission mount let's the trans swing a lot as well, I'd suggest looking into a Z1 mount there
