    I really love the suave professionals line. I use their shea butter and almond conditioner to co-wash and their flexible hold curling mousse and flexible hold hairspray with great results. They are super cheap but very effective.

    I have fine bleached hair and the best mousse I've used is living proof timeless plumping mousse. I use it at the root and then brush through with a wetbrush. I also use leave in conditioner. • @anjeanetteschannel
      @anjeanetteschannel 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      T Mursee I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL STYLIST, but it would make sense to me that your scalp might be getting over-cleansed without enough moisture . I know that is true for skin- oily skin needs moisture too! I would try washing every other day instead of every day for a while and see if that helps?

    • @Bambibot
      @Bambibot 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm a stylist (in training and working in a salon). First of all how do you wash your hair and what products do you use? How often as well?

    • @TS-tt3ss
      @TS-tt3ss 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Reidebot shampoo the top of my head and condition the length of my hair (never my scalp) I don’t use any Products besides shampoo and conditioner and maybe some detangling spray on really bad days. Right now I use head and shoulders (I do have an itchy scalp since moving) and Pantene conditioner. I use to use tresemme keratin smooth (I moved over seas and they don’t sell it here) I use to wash my hair every other day sometimes going 2 days between washes but now I have to wash it every day if I wait a day between it looks like it’s been a week like I said above.

    • @Bambibot
      @Bambibot 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Head and shoulders and pantene are probably your issue. They put a coating on the hair and scalp which could make it more oily. Especially pantene. You probably would be best getting something for volume. KMS California is a cheap bughet brand. If you are in australia Nak and Care are also cheap as well.
      The other option you could look at is purchasing a dry shampoo. This it s root spray that dries out the oil a little.
      If you feel that it's not normal you could also look into an endocrynogist (sorry if the names a little off... but a hormone specialist) and see if thats the issue. How ever those products are more likely the cause.

  • @Haileysheaaa
    @Haileysheaaa 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Let’s talk about hair! I use the coconut organix “miracle” conditioner.. is that the deep conditioner???
    I love it because I feel like it’s better than the normal conditioner but I don’t know if it’s a deep conditioner or not, because I don’t want to use it too much if it’s a deep conditioner. I can get oily in my scalp area but have pretty dry ends, so I like it for my blonde ends but don’t know if it’s too much to be using all the time. Thanks!

    Speaking of wash day. Could you do a video on how you wash and style your hair for everyday wear? I'm natural (3C/4A) and have considered "heat training" my hair to try something different. My understanding is you're not relaxed and your hair is moreso on the Afro side. It would be nice to see how you straighten/style it.

    Believe it or not, I went to daiso and got an oil (Camellia oil). If I use it after ironing my ends feel better. I'm a stylist working through spring carnival while being due for a cut and it helps tame my wild ends.
    There is a supermarket dry shampoo called Batiste. This does add a light colour to your hair. If you use it while having dark hair you have to work it in. However if you are blonde it can make your blond look brighter and make your regrowth less obvious.

    @Britney Grey I am probably too late with my comment to get an answer, but trying it anyway: I went to the 'as i am' website and I got the impression the cowash is mostly for curls/ natural hair. Now, i have the finest, straight hair you can imagine, always looks like i just used a iron straightener, doesn't really tangle or keep a curl etc.. I am looking for an alternative to shampoos, because I don't need that much chemical action with that kind of hair, however because my hair is this straight it looks unwashed after only one night because it looks streaky, although it's not oily. would the As i Am Cowash work for me, potentially? Just a foam-free gentle rinse wash too make it perk up a bit and hydrate it... Or is it a ridiculous attempt because I think I have the opposite of natural hair if there ever was one... Thanks for any help Britney or anyone in the comment section has to offer

  • @CamDollar

    Hey, I have fine, but a lot of hair and it gets tangled so easily. Anyone recommend some products that detangle in the shower and some for after the shower to leave in or use in dry hair to detangle it between washes?

    I found a great lightweight plumping gel from "Not Your Mother's " lineIt comes in a white bottle with I think it just says plumping on it in a pump spray top on it. I have fine hair and this stuff really works and doesn't weigh it down which I love :0)
