I cried too! The simplicity of something so fundamental that we can all enjoy was beautiful.
I agree with what this artist is doing. It not only adds to the aesthetics of the border wall, which doesn't look very pleasing, but it also brings people together what the border wall was supposed to separate.
This is a peaceful activity bringing hope to young minds rather than building hatred.

Theres n old saying i heard growing up. “Ni de aqui ni de alla”. But i am so glad my parents let me and my brothers get to know old Mexico as kids. In the 80s it was beautiful.
Mexico never had the violence we see today before 2008 ish, this all started around that time and man does it suck. Used to be my little getaway vacation every weekend growing up but all that changed when the cartels wars started around 2008 ish

I'm Mexican. It is sad, but it is what it is. We can't say it's the US's fault that bad people often cross it.
I agree they are only trying to protect their people, but it's sad nevertheless, we could had open borders if corruption and violence didn't sweep Latin America.

Yogurt Monster I lived years of my life in both places and I don’t get it either, there’s plenty of opportunities in Mexico and I’ve never had a problem with the police or cartels. I honestly prefer living in Mexico over the US I don’t know why people would want to leave here and go to the US...

There was this girl I was talking too and she said that the part of mexico she was in was really nice and safe, theres alot of mom and pop shops (family owned businesses), restaurants, rich culture and people had stable jobs. She said nobody there is trying to flee to America

I grew up in Mexico hernosillo and it’s hard growing up in a poor country, but it’s beautiful too. I’m glad I’m Mexican but I was mad when the border was made. May we all have peace ☮️
mexico was one of the richest countries in the late 1800s early 1900s. mexico has had soo many s- h .it leaders in the later years sadly, thats why mexico is poor today. its not poor when it comes to rescourses etc, just bad leaders

Why moving to the U.S. automatically means life is better (material life to some extend yes) while making a change and difference in Mexico requires people to stay, not to flee to the U.S., leaving problems potentially being able to turn into opportunities behind and to pursue so-called better life? To be precise, save for how the Rio Grande has changed over the years, Texas has NO land border with Old Mexico.
That section of the border fence is located at Sunland Park, New Mexico.

I have 15’ walls with spikes on top as well as security cameras. My neighbors have concertina wire or electric wire on top of their fences or walls. When I first moved here I was surprised with all the security. This is Aug 2 & we already have over 1000 homicides.Just telling you the way it really is.
