There's actually this disturbing "trend" in art communities where people would simply take official art from videogames/movies/anime/comics, grayscale and put pencil stroke filters on the picture, superimpose it on a photo of a sketchbook lying on a table, then post that photoshopped image online before claiming that they drew it from scratch.

I used to frequent this one Facebook art page and I kept on seeing these quite disturbingly often. When other members started calling these people out, they'd typically play victim and cry how they've lost the will to draw (apparently after getting busted for tracing before).
I have actually done something similar to this, a few years back my brother found a really nice piece of concept art for Skyrim of Azura and wanted me to do a pencil drawing of it to frame and put on his wall for his birthday, and I did. The hilarious thing is that they only make it that far because everyone else is vaccinated, and therefore not spreading things around to the unprotected kids. Then because their kid isn't getting sick (because other parents were responsible and protected their kids), they think they did the right thing. This will continue until the movement gets large enough that the safety bubble of protected kids isn't enough to keep sickness away from the non vaccinated, and sickness sweeps through them like fucking wildfire.

My sister had a severe allergic reaction to something in the measles (I think, this was over 20 years ago) vaccination and couldn't be vaccinated. She also allergic to penicillin so maybe there's a link there. Luckily I didn't have her condition and I received all mine so I wasn't likely to be a source of infection for her. My daughter is autistic, she's got a lot of struggles 😢 She will probably never be able to live alone and have a "normal" life. She's verbal, but has a very difficult time communicating and has elopement issues. Basically means she frequently tries to get out of the house which is absolutely terrifying. We've got alarms on EVERYTHING. She's a teenager now, but isn't able to do average teenage things like text or communicate on social media or anything like that. It breaks my heart. She will probably always live with me and her dad, going back and forth like she has since she was about 5. I know this definitely isn't the case for a lot of people on the spectrum. Many are able to lead "regular" lives, have jobs, their own place to live, and have families of their own.

I have aspergies and I really don't appreciate the hate the autism division gets. I haven't found some huge thing that makes me different to over people, yeah I maybe learn the slowest but I excel in the areas/subjects I'm interested in like history, art or health. Some of my closest friends and family (that aren't autistic) say that I am very smart and wise. I don't know how I could get those kinds of powers. But I guess all those vaccines really paid of then.

Also I’ve read that article - basically this professor doesn’t understand how statistics work at all. She’s took the current rate of increase and extrapolated it all the way to 2027, which isn’t sound - using that method you could go however many decades further into the future and have a 100% rate of autism which is ridiculous. The current ‘increase’ in autism diagnosis is probably due largely to past ignorance and could very well plateau soon. I was on Facebook looking at Jacksepticeye/Markiplier groups to join or just to see if anyone had reposted my art on them (cause it does happen). I came to this on that let me look at the photos as it was a public group. I came across a girl who had posted my art of Anti-jacksepticeye, claiming it as their own, and asking where they could post it for Jack's Septicart event. When I read through the comments someone had asked if they were me (are you Darkmagic Sweetheart) and you know what...she said yes, she said she was ME! Not only that, but the post was a year old. A FULL YEAR OLD! I have a pretty good support net of followers that help me out a lot at spotting things like this, but I had never heard of this post or the girl. I immediately messaged one of the admins for the group and said I needed to talk to them about something important for the group they ran. At first they said they were busy and to try someone else, but then I asked, "Even for identity theft?" They totally freaked and made a group chat with all the admins to talk out what was going on. Luckily, they got the post taken down, and the girl banned from like four TH-cam related FB groups as they constantly apologized about this slipping past them for so long. Sadly...I found her Twitter later on and she had actually posted for the event. It only had 4 hearts though. I got that taken down to and the left Twitter all together after that. Just thought I'd share since the post reminded me of my own experience. :D

There's actually this disturbing "trend" in art communities where people would simply take official art from videogames/movies/anime/comics, grayscale and put pencil stroke filters on the picture, superimpose it on a photo of a sketchbook lying on a table, then post that photoshopped image online before claiming that they drew it from scratch.

Exactly, hence the quotation marks. Meaning it's more of an epidemic of people exploiting technology for cheap bragging rights. I used to frequent this one Facebook art page and I kept on seeing these quite disturbingly often. When other members started calling these people out, they'd typically play victim and cry how they've lost the will to draw (apparently after getting busted for tracing before).

I have actually done something similar to this, a few years back my brother found a really nice piece of concept art for Skyrim of Azura and wanted me to do a pencil drawing of it to frame and put on his wall for his birthday, and I did. The drawing is a black and white pencil drawing of the original, the thing is huge and took me about 150 hours to draw it, I ended up putting a picture online in a Skyrim group and I had a number of people tell me I didn't draw it and it was just a Photoshop of the original, kinda pissed me of because I did draw it but I get where they where coming from, I would never sell anything like this or pass the design of as my own.

The hilarious thing is that they only make it that far because everyone else is vaccinated, and therefore not spreading things around to the unprotected kids. Then because their kid isn't getting sick (because other parents were responsible and protected their kids), they think they did the right thing. This will continue until the movement gets large enough that the safety bubble of protected kids isn't enough to keep sickness away from the non vaccinated, and sickness sweeps through them like fucking wildfire.

My sister had a severe allergic reaction to something in the measles (I think, this was over 20 years ago) vaccination and couldn't be vaccinated. My daughter is autistic, she's got a lot of struggles 😢
She will probably never be able to live alone and have a "normal" life. She's verbal, but has a very difficult time communicating and has elopement issues. Basically means she frequently tries to get out of the house which is absolutely terrifying. We've got alarms on EVERYTHING. She's a teenager now, but isn't able to do average teenage things like text or communicate on social media or anything like that. It breaks my heart. She will probably always live with me and her dad, going back and forth like she has since she was about 5. I know this definitely isn't the case for a lot of people on the spectrum. Many are able to lead "regular" lives, have jobs, their own place to live, and have families of their own.

I have aspergies and I really don't appreciate the hate the autism division gets. I haven't found some huge thing that makes me different to over people, yeah I maybe learn the slowest but I excel in the areas/subjects I'm interested in like history, art or health. Some of my closest friends and family (that aren't autistic) say that I am very smart and wise. I don't know how I could get those kinds of powers. But I guess all those vaccines really paid of then.

I can "pass" pretty well as neurotypical, but there's others that can't, and what they need is support, not being told they're "bad" because they didn't develop the same way. Also I’ve read that article - basically this professor doesn’t understand how statistics work at all. She’s took the current rate of increase and extrapolated it all the way to 2027, which isn’t sound - using that method you could go however many decades further into the future and have a 100% rate of autism which is ridiculous. The current ‘increase’ in autism diagnosis is probably due largely to past ignorance and could very well plateau soon. And if it doesn’t that’s not a big deal either, frankly, but my point is that it isn’t just ignorant and prejudiced, but dumb af.

Listen...I know this video is like two years old, but I actually had a similar experience to the story at 13:22. I was on Facebook looking at Jacksepticeye/Markiplier groups to join or just to see if anyone had reposted my art on them (cause it does happen). I came to this on that let me look at the photos as it was a public group.
I came across a girl who had posted my art of Anti-jacksepticeye, claiming it as their own, and asking where they could post it for Jack's Septicart event. When I read through the comments someone had asked if they were me (are you Darkmagic Sweetheart) and you know what...she said yes, she said she was ME! Not only that, but the post was a year old. A FULL YEAR OLD! I have a pretty good support net of followers that help me out a lot at spotting things like this, but I had never heard of this post or the girl.
I immediately messaged one of the admins for the group and said I needed to talk to them about something important for the group they ran. At first they said they were busy and to try someone else, but then I asked, "Even for identity theft?" They totally freaked and made a group chat with all the admins to talk out what was going on. Luckily, they got the post taken down, and the girl banned from like four TH-cam related FB groups as they constantly apologized about this slipping past them for so long.
Sadly...I found her Twitter later on and she had actually posted for the event. It only had 4 hearts though. I got that taken down to and the left Twitter all together after that.
Just thought I'd share since the post reminded me of my own experience. :D

I actually disagreed to the on quityourbullshit of the dude who made the skyrim piece. Although it may be easy to be skeptical about it being the amazon piece, it’s wayyyyy too simplified in comparison to the one you can buy on amazon.
