Is Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips in Times Square a Great Deal or Tourist Trap?

- Today we're in Times Square, New York City to try Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips. We do a lot of touristy things on this channel, but this is our first time bringing you guys to Times Square. It takes a lot to get New Yorkers to come here, but for us, all it takes is the promise of some good food, so fingers crossed this place doesn’t disappoint.

Superlative video as always. $18.95 is pretty decent for any restaurant in Manhattan...and you don't have to tip.
I live in the Gramercy and am never in Times Square. However it might be worth the walk uptown for that combo. I love Fish & Chips, and most offerings in Manhattan are sorely lacking.
Thanks! Gramercy is beautiful. We've been told A Salt & Battery which is a little closer to you in the West Village has the best in the city but we haven't tried it yet. We've actually already made the trip back to Times Square for Gordon Ramsay's we liked it so much!
@@travelfuller Went to a Salt & Battery. The first time it was slightly below average. A couple of months later I was on Greenwich Avenue (know for their British food shops) and gave it another shot. Wasn't good. Your Gordon Ramsey fish & chips looked other level.

Hard to believe Fish & Chips is viable these days let alone with a side dish of Ramsay's temperament. I still remember the eatery Arthur Treacher's now mostly gone & it was tasty. I'll take pass on Ramsay's designs.

P. S. Any New Year's resolutions/goals on your channels platform?
That's a great point although we've since gone back and it was packed! It's hard to have number goals since that can be so reliant on TH-cam recommending our content but we'd love to hit 10,000. Our main goal with the channel is to push ourselves to try things we wouldn't have otherwise whether that's food or travel experiences. We're not really focused on maximizing the TH-cam algorithm yet, just doing things we enjoy and keeping up with one post a week!
Funny! Arthur Treachers was my job as a teenager in the early 80’s. The food really was delicious, I miss the hush puppies.
Fish n chips is not from Ireland, it's from Great Britian.
Yes that's why we mentioned traveling around the UK, but Ireland does have incredible fish and chips as well
way too much psychoanalysis of the food...just say if it is good or bad and move on...even by looking at the food, i can tell it is not bad.....
