The revenue from these lines is what kept senior citizen Hawaiians in Lunalilo homes. the Queen Liliuokalani trust helped fund indigent children of Hawaiian ancestry. Queen Emma trust helped to provide medical for native Hawaiians. Bernice Pauahi bishop trust revenue was used to educate native Hawaiian children. Calling it an oligarchy and dissolving the lands but allowing The island of Niihau to be owned by the Robinson family, and the island of lanai to be owned by Larry Ellison. That’s what we have been fighting for in Cali when the developers moved in when gentrifiers started coming in droves in 2015. Owners were selling homes and apts not telling long time residents natives many gens here. All the sudden some men in suits were serving renters telling them you have 60 days to move we own this now. Many lawsuits have gone down here ppl suing the owners or developers to give them measly move fees. Same time it was happening here it was happening on NY and San Fran I was telling everyone I knew and family do you not see what’s happening. I’m the one they call a hypochrodriac in the family so again I was just overreacting. But once it got bad where developers were renting out or buying whole parking lots. To park their trucks and trailers in so all their hard hat construction guys could come and go for lunch/beaks. While they torn down, built or refurbished tons of land all around Los Angeles I knew what was happening moment I seen it. Yes it’s old buildings and houses that are falling apart they don’t want to fix them and put poor ppl back on them. How would they be able to make the money back for refurbishing and renting them back out to poor ppl who can’t afford them. My thing is where do they expect all these poor ppl to go if they haven’t built affordable housing to rent. And then on top of it leave our borders open making our housing crisis worse. So now you have all these new fancy or nicely refurbished buildings going for a lot. While they stand next to the old buildings with the poor so basically they want to spread out all these poor they don’t care where they go. Whether it be to other states or other parts of the city or homeless to the streets as long as they can get rid of them so they can modernize Los Angeles. I get it it’s like an old car you aren’t going to keep putting tons of money into it eventually you going to just junk it and get a working car. But it’s foul because what do you expect all these ppl to do. I’ve lived in my old building 14 yrs pay $1300 a month for a 1bdr with a slumlord my place is nice cause I’ve put money into it cause I can’t afford to move. If they refurbish or sell me and my family will be homeless cause I can’t afford $2200 a month for a 1bdr room and I’m disabled. Recently my mother and step father died tragically so I’ve signed up for some resources for housing I pray come through soon. It’s really sad to always be worried if you’ll have a place to live or food to eat. I have a few friends right now in their 40’s and 50’s who work and are homeless. They just can’t afford the rents making $18 an hr even rooms are $1000 and more.

That’s what we have been fighting for in Cali when the developers moved in when gentrifiers started coming in droves in 2015. Owners were selling homes and apts not telling long time residents natives many gens here. All the sudden some men in suits were serving renters telling them you have 60 days to move we own this now. Many lawsuits have gone down here ppl suing the owners or developers to give them measly move fees. Same time it was happening here it was happening on NY and San Fran I was telling everyone I knew and family do you not see what’s happening. I’m the one they call a hypochrodriac in the family so again I was just overreacting. But once it got bad where developers were renting out or buying whole parking lots. To park their trucks and trailers in so all their hard hat construction guys could come and go for lunch/beaks. While they torn down, built or refurbished tons of land all around Los Angeles I knew what was happening moment I seen it. Yes it’s old buildings and houses that are falling apart they don’t want to fix them and put poor ppl back on them. How would they be able to make the money back for refurbishing and renting them back out to poor ppl who can’t afford them. My thing is where do they expect all these poor ppl to go if they haven’t built affordable housing to rent. And then on top of it leave our borders open making our housing crisis worse. So now you have all these new fancy or nicely refurbished buildings going for a lot. While they stand next to the old buildings with the poor so basically they want to spread out all these poor they don’t care where they go. Whether it be to other states or other parts of the city or homeless to the streets as long as they can get rid of them so they can modernize Los Angeles. I get it it’s like an old car you aren’t going to keep putting tons of money into it eventually you going to just junk it and get a working car. But it’s foul because what do you expect all these ppl to do. I’ve lived in my old building 14 yrs pay $1300 a month for a 1bdr with a slumlord my place is nice cause I’ve put money into it cause I can’t afford to move. If they refurbish or sell me and my family will be homeless cause I can’t afford $2200 a month for a 1bdr room and I’m disabled. Recently my mother and step father died tragically so I’ve signed up for some resources for housing I pray come through soon. It’s really sad to always be worried if you’ll have a place to live or food to eat. I have a few friends right now in their 40’s and 50’s who work and are homeless. They just can’t afford the rents making $18 an hr even rooms are $1000 and more.
