Glad to see Lego allowed you back into their creator program!
Was he not allowed to review for a minute? What happened?
@@RisingUnderdogfor like 3 frames he forgot to black out the corner of the screen with an unreleased Rocket Raccoon set. A little harsh punishment so I’m glad they let him back in
@@Flyoff1234They have to be very strict, otherwise people may abuse the system and sell information.
Which is good because it kind of wasn't his fault. Someone screenshot his video and shared it to Instagram on purpose.
and should not be brought back
A bricksie space center in the lego city would be cool.
Yes I agree
Absolutely… i keep suggesting it
Greetings! I’m a space nerd, and here’s some fun facts about NASA’s SLS rocket!
-the rocket’s side boosters are the same ones used on the space shuttle! Though they are taller and more powerful, they are being reused to make this already expensive rocket even cheaper.
-the Orion crew module is the Orion itself! The part of the rocket you called “Orion” is the cryogenic propulsion stage! It is used to get the Orion to the moon!
5:22 The water is for Sound Suppression, and it also protects the concrete at the base of the pad. Remember SpaceX Starship IFT-1, and what happened to the pad? When they added the Water Deluge System for IFT-2 there was almost no damage.
Sound suppression so that the waves reflected from the pad don't destroy the vehicle
...and of course, to provide a habitat for frogs, which are going to get a real surprise!
This is actually a really appealing model build, even for a non space fan. Even the instruction book looks great.
Thanks for all the details 😊
Nice review! I cant wait to get mine mid May, they did a great job depicting the entire launch system and rocket with this set. I will look really cool next to the Saturn V. Fantastic seeing you doing new set reviews in the new studio. Be safe and well!
Ahhh I can't wait to get my hands on this set!
Is it wrong to say , I miss a warehouse renovation video.
Stay tuned for basement Reno lol
This looks like the best set of this year
Happy to see you are back in the Lego Creator Program. Enjoy your reviews.
Awesome set wow! Thanks for a great video and hope you and the family have been well! 😊
Omgggg. May 15th NEEDS to hurry. I freaked out when I first saw this set. It looks way better when it’s built! Love it!!
Unfortunately, u have to wait until may 18th to actually get the set .May 15 is just pre-order for Lego insiders. The set doesn't come out until that Saturday.
@@Ruddellcreations18 gotcha! Thanks for that clarification 😁👍🏼
Looks fantastic. The echo adds gravitas to the review!
Looks like a pretty nice set, I'm definitely tempted to buy it!
Great honest review, especially regarding the stickers.Looks awesome though
Very much looking forward to getting this set. It looks fantastic.
Glad to see the LAN program working with your again!
Looks like an amazing set and a must buy. Thanks for the review bricksie n wahoo
Oh no, more Lego in the basement to transport to the warehouse!
So excited to add this to my collection! Looks awesome!
Okay I'm buying it :D It would be so awesome to have a complete set of space shuttle on launch pad as well
It was nice to catch a glimpse of the hidden pink piece underneath the launch pad!!
I worked on SLS here at NASA MSFC…I gotta add this to my collection! I’m still working on SLS. This is cool!
I'm at JSC myself, you bet Im grabbing this for my office!
Yes! Finally. I was waiting for this video!!
awesome video jordan the set looks amazing great job
I was debating this one, but now I’m sold. Thanks
With some light bricks under the engines and on the tower this will look even more amazing
Great review! Can't wait to buy this on the 15th!
Stickers!!!!!AAAAAAAAA ok ok it’s a good price but COME ON MAN!!
I like it. Now you just have to build a launch pad with the fuel tank and boosters in scale with the Discovery shuttle! That would be EPIC Jordan!!
I still remember going to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida in 1989, and seeing the transporter that takes the launch vehicle to the pad. It travels at just 3mph, but the driver surprisingly still has to wear a seatbelt
I can't wait to get this set when they had the send your name on artemis One. when they first sent it up, I did it for me and my wife and our dog for me and my wife's first anniversary they put our names on a chip that was in Orion, so I really really want this set
Wow that’s really sturdy. Even though you said as much, I kept expecting something to break when you put pressure on it, and then again when you tipped it up so we could see underneath.
It looks and sounds impressive from your review, i may even get the set at some point.
It'd be great if they started doing transparent background stickers, so there's no mismatch between the plastic and the paper whites
Has a lot of Saturn V similarities. Cool looking set overall, especially the launch tower.
When i get my set I'd definitely get that nasa worm logo printed out as a die cut
Thank you for the awesome video! 😊
Wow! This is a must buy for me!
Would look epic lit up at night ! Maybe add a lighting kit.
Great review of this space set. So glad you are able to get sets from Lego again. I did miss seeing you review sets and give your honest opinion of them. But I have to say that following your new studio journey has been awesome! Thanks for taking us along for the ride.
Or maybe buy them like everyone else nobody should get it for free
Looks Awesome - nice build
should have been same dimensions as the Lego Saturn V. I get the WHY they didn't as the Saturn V as little playability as its so large, but now you can't display the SLS next to the Saturn V
just finished the build, it looks awesome. Have the Saturn V too, this time incl. tower is perfect. Details on the solid booster, I build the two at 1 time wich required some adjustment beacuase of the place of the prints/stickers that comes quite precise. 250 euro I paid in the Netherlands. I think it's wordt every eurocent and a great addition to my other Lego Nasa builds. Lego lunar rover comes next pre ordered it.
Great set!
Water Deluge during launches protects the concrete launch pad, look at what happened to a SpaceX launch with no water completely destroyed the pad. It also dampens the sound too.
That looks incredible
Great set, great review cheers
I hope you make a space section of the city where there’s a rocket launch with minifigs watching
Icons lineup should not use stickers. Its display models and the stickers are an eyesore. Everyone that already have the Saturn V would most likely buy this to display it side by side, but this one is the wrong scale as it is approx. 1:160 compared to Saturn V which is 1:110
The Saturn V is pretty tall (over 3 feet), this at the same scale would be even taller, which means a lot more pieces and an even higher price point. It's already more than twice what the Saturn V cost, and Lego probably thinks it wouldn't sell if it was too much more expensive. They could do just the rocket without the support tower, but I guess they wanted to differentiate from the Saturn V.
Echo is not the issue. The audio is just not there, mate. Looking forward for the set but it does look pretty repetitive, as you mentioned. cheers.
This looks awesome.
I noticed that you didn't comment on the addition of the pink brick they always hide in the builds.
Nasa space rocket is great detail awseome review 👍
Really waiting for this set. Will it fit on a mils plate?
Wonder if the Apollo 11 will fit in it or the Space shuttle?
HI THE SETS ARE GETTIG BIGGER wear do we put them after they are made i know my mate said no more lego running out of room
How long this take you to build ? Just takes time to build a big lego set mid move haha love it
Thanks for the review . It was really rocket solid …lol
This is definitely a Day 1 purchase!!
I must see it next to my saturn V rocket and compare its size acculay is in good scale
Cool video dude!
You think it’s worth getting 2 to use the tower for the Saturn V???
I look forward to your videos everyday
Wow the basement where the old lego room was is very echoey now that its empty from the big move. 😅
Great review. I think this is going on my list! One thing I'd wish Lego would address is the terrible quality of their square bound assembly manual spines. The Titanic build manuals were horrendous. So heavily wrinkled along the spines. Looks like the problem still exists.
Does the Saturn V fit on the tower?
Stop saying "studs not on top". Every LEGO fan knows what SNOT means. 😉
6:18 I just wish they would’ve made it to the same scale as the Saturn V. I would’ve bought two, so I could have a launch pad for my Saturn V. I know they are not exactly the same but they are similar enough.
Bricksie all about the new space sets and I'm all about the Harry Potter set leaks
Excellent review. I'm getting this set. But I am going to apply the NASA stickers right next to each other so it looks proper even if they have to go over multiple pieces. It's not like I am going to disassemble it when it's sitting next to the Saturn V, Moon lander, the upcoming Moon buggy, the Perseverance rover and Discovery shuttle.
Right??
I would love to play guitar in your studio. It's got insane natural reverb
If it was the same scale as the Saturn V (1:110) then I would buy it no question. However, it is roughly 1:144 scale, I’ll have to consider this or an Artemis MOC from rebrickable at a 1:110 scale.
Briksie rattrape doucement mais sûrement mister beast
Nice! Do you know the scale?
It looks fantastic 🎉
Bricksie could you add the Canadian price to
Love this set, but sadly another one to the list of Lego sets I can’t afford and can only dream of having😢
You must live on zero sleep Bricksie! How did you have time to build this while moving? 😆👍 great job- go have a nap buddy!!👍👍
You should add the NASA Perceverance mars rover to your collection
Nice acoustics
I look at this set and all I see is the potential launch tower for a Saturn V or a set of booster rockets and fuel tank for the space shuttle….sure both would require at least two copies of this set but still! 😂
Is it lego city scale?
So glad you can be back!
Awesome 👍🚀
Are you back in lan!?
Jordan how much was that Rocket 🚀 going for on the Lego Website or in store?
You did a Good Job on the Video Jordan Bro 😊👍🏼👍🏼, Nics Job Jordan 😊👍🏼👍🏼.
Your Friend: Balaban 😊👍🏼👍🏼.
I’d love to see a space port in the city!
It would also be cool to have a moon or mars base somewhere else in the studio. You could hang ships flying between them.
It is funny that your basement sounds now more hollow than your studio!
Wondering how hard it’ll be to convert to the Saturn Rocket?🤔
Am I the only person who can't help but notice one of the solar panels for the orion module is wonky on the box art? It drives me nuts everytime I see it 😭
This new studio has so much echo! 😆
The ”dumpning” of water is to dampen the noise from the rocket. A wall of water 💦
Goood finally of the naughty list
Nice😊
I was almost going to buy the Lego city version
your the best
hmmmm.... surprised they went ahead with this when they chose to take a pass on the launch tower for the Saturn V. Then again, this tower is considerably smaller, so maybe that works in it's favor.
That rocket belongs in your City
I love it, can’t wait to add it to my other NASA sets. The decals are annoying imo. I’d rather they bumped the price a little bit and supplied the set with printed pieces, especially for key ones like the NASA logo etc :/
