Farm land is typically flat so it would work in the foreground. The camp ground would look great up on the rolling hills on the other side of the train track. Love the cave! I think a well on top would make a great peep hole into the cave.

@annicboy I see a valley built around one of the standing holes being home to a hidden fantasy village within the mountains. It could be hidden from view from the rest of the more normal city. I imagine more whimsical vegetation and minifigure characters.

If you were to lengthen the air strip and pair it with a smaller scale weathered airplane hangar, it could make for some cool story telling with older style vehicles and mini figs! Just a thought but you do you, this whole project is awesome and I look forward to these videos all the time!

I think it's a great idea having the airstrip at the edge of the table/near the trainyard, but you're right now that you have more space it would look better and more realistic if the runway was 1-2 more baseplates long

If you took a few studs off the side of the zoo you could do a gravel/dirt road going up into the mountain leading to Ninjago and then it could wind down to the countryside. The dirt road could be a split-off from the zoo parking lot. Consider incorporating some cool switchbacks down the side of the mountain with some lookout points like on real mountain roads! Love your videos

Can leave the farm closer to the train yard as well as a small campground. But it would be cool seeing you incorporate some wilderness elements. You live in Canada, epic forests, waterfalls etc. Not every place has to be accessible by road, some national parks are so remote that they can only be accessed by plane. Leave the aframe cabin and tree house in the boons.

I really believe you need to extend the airfield by another plate. To make it look at little more realistic.
I like the idea of the camp ground area being accessible from a mountain pass through.
The base plates with elevation on them are great where they are. Gives you as start on the elevation into the mountain side.
Maybe an idea of a small camp ground on the side of the mountain and elevation with a half a dozen small cabins. With a gravel path way winding down the mountain.
Maybe another idea of having a rope bridge across from the mountain side to the camp ground going over the train track. Since it’s looking like the train will be imbedded into the mills plate.
Maybe moving the farm and farmers market into the countryside as well. Give you an opportunity to create a small farm as well in the country side.
Just some food for thought. Progress is looking great. Can’t wait to see how the countryside comes out.
