Siren Con?? You know, I myself have always been fascinated about how they work as a kid growing up. I'm a Rollercoaster Enthusiasts, and go to many Coaster Cons when I can. We have the Amusement Parks all to ourselves in the morning for two hours before it opens to the public, and a couple of hours at night when the park closes riding different Rollercoasters. I'll have to check your group out and hear some of those Sirens Very Up Close and Personal!! And make sure I bring some Very Good Earplugs!! WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooowww!!🤣

Are the rotating sirens used mainly for tornado sirens? I am from Southern NJ and we have mainly fire sirens. I mean old school like the sth10, stl10, model 2,5,7, plus the good old Sterling sirens. Some fire companies have air horns or Gamewell diaphones. I unfortunately don't know much about the tornado sirens or who built them.
either kind of siren isn't used more than the other. nondirectional sirens were usually cheaper and they were more common than rotating Sirens, but there are also a lot of fire sirens like the thunderbolt which do rotate.
in my area we have alot of P-10s for use for a nuclear accident at the nuclear power plant nearby

No I didn't. I was diagnosed years ago, with something that allows my ears to take in a lot more noise than most other people can. People think I'm crazy but I didn't need the earplugs. Btw I'm the guy with the red t shirt with bike tires on it.
