I don't blame him. At this point most Lois Lane's would fawn over KC Superman, or Smallville Superman. Also E38 Lois was hitting on all her alt husbands.

Kinda sucks that they didnt use Brandon Ruth's Superman at all in the final battle, thought that was a waste. A side from great cameos - Crisis was a bit of downer for me as a whole. A little too much of a force push on the new characters to be that important.
Dceu would do it better. Hopefully if they do crisis on infinite earths, they’ll bring justice to Brandon Routh Superman and also after dealing with anti monitor in dceu, hopefully the final dceu enemy would be darkseid, and use all multiverse hero against darkseid and his paradooms and parademons.
@@lilbigfan3782 DCEU doesn't know how to do their current characters. At least when the Arrowverse doesn't put enough focus on the cameos, they have good characters to put the focus on instead.

I absolutely LOVE the attention to detail with Brandon's eyes. Check 1:36 of the video. As Clark, they are blue, as they're meant to be, and as they were in Superman Returns. However, as Ray Palmer, they're dark brown, as Brandon's are naturally. The colored contacts are something I will never take for granted. *cough* Daniel Radcliffe *cough* Tobey Maguire *cough*
To be fair, the only reason Dan didn't wear contacts to play Harry was that they irritated his eyes too much (think I read he was allergic to them in some capacity, but I could be wrong), they tried him with contacts but he just couldn't wear them

I've seen the original 1978 Superman probably a hundred times. I still like to watch it from time to time. As I grow older, I realize that, more than anything, it's a love story. And this scene, with "Can You Read My Mind" playing, makes me realize that Superman and Lois will always love each other at first sight, no matter what universe they happen to be in.
Have you seen the Richard Donner version of the second one?

It's not that I hate comics, it's just that comic books rarely fell into my hands as a kid. If I had spending money, I'd go to the used bookstore and buy some books. So I've never read the golden age whatever. But I do know the name of Lois's old comic-book series: "Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane." That tells me everything I need to know. 😎

Clark Kent is the main Character not Superman that’s why Snyder’s Superman fails in ways to me Brandon didn’t do a bad job, though his movie needed work which my thoughts were that they should have made Lois hate Superman so Clark could actually have a shot at her and not randomly have her with a husband but rather be a strong single mom, it’d have hit hard at the end if she realized he was both of them and that all along he truly did love her,

Brandon's movie was a direct love letter to Christopher Reeve's movie, and a continuation to the original 4 movies that Reeve did. It wasn't bad and I still say it's a good Superman movie, had we gotten a sequel that was planned to be 1, we could have seen him stretch his legs out in it so to speak. And it would have been better. Also, keep in mind, we were supposed to get a Batman vs Superman movie with Bale and Routh but that never happened.
@@Eternaldarkness3166 Superman Returns was only a sequel to Superman 2. The third and fourth are not technically canon anymore. Also the rumor mill for the Bale and Routh BVS movie was really WB wanting a BVS movie to hype up fans but Nolan and Bale continually said no due to the stylistic differences of the movies worlds. Superman could definitely have a Batman but the Nolan Batman could never meet Superman too grounded. I'm happy they never did that with them but that's me.

Well kingdom come superman never killed the joker. It was one of the younger heroes named Maggog. Which led superman to go into hiding because he felt the world wanted a more bloodthirsty type of hero. You are referring to injustice superman, and not only did she die but also his unborn child and metropolis due to the bomb that was triggered when her heart stop. Plus he tricked superman with a kryptonite lace fear toxin. So superman had a lot to be angry about.

His love for humanity never started, or ended with Lois. Superman is Superman because of his parents, Jonathan & Martha Kent. You can swap out Lois, and he'd still be Superman. The Injustice universe is just an alternate reality. Highly popular, hence why you are referencing it, however it's just not Superman. Kingdom Come is a much more realistic take on Superman & how he deals with loss.

showing all these versions of Clark just highlights how tiny the CW version is. Just standing next to Tom Welling, he looks less like Superman and more like Superboy, even Brandon Routh sort of feels the same way. the hilarious reaction of Lois oggling them in front of her Clark is almost as if the CW has its own in joke about how small the actor is. the guy has had an entire cavalcade of emasculation throughout his entire run in this universe. I kinda feel bad for him.

I just looked it up Tyler Hoechlin is only 3 inches shorter than Tom Welling, 2 inches shorter than Brandon Routh, and 1 INCH shorter than Henry Cavill. I looked it up because he looks so much smaller than them but he really isn’t. He is much skinner than the rest of them that is certain. (I also just made the discovery that if you put each of the actors I have listed in descending order of when they were cast to play Superman you will see that each time he becomes an inch shorter)
What's funny is, I checked their heights on Wikipedia after reading that, and Tyler Hoechlin is six feet even. It's just that Henry Cavill is 6' 1", Brandon Routh is 6' 2", Tom Welling is 6' 3", and Christopher Reeve is 6' 4." Superman loses an inch with each actor! (The one who doesn't fit the pattern is Dean Cain, who's 6' 0" like Tyler.)

That's a really absurd comment. I don't think you know what spiderman is supposed to be like. Quite a few say that garfield is THE spiderman. I agree. I don't think tom fits the spiderman side as good. A mixture of tobey and Andrew are closer I would say to Peter Parker. I felt that tom didn't taunt hos enemies the way he should. I just feel tom is too small. Animated Spiderman is muscular. It sounds different when garfields spidey fights crime.

not the only one, I was hyped to see him play Batman in live action but that was quickly squashed by their use of him to prop up Batwoman as some sort of paragon of virtue when she is a huge villain in her own show regardless of how the writers want to paint her actions.
The disrespect was so hurtful to me as a fan. I understand they wanted a version of the dark dark knight but to have my childhood idle play him just soured me.

Funny how Routh's Superman and Tulloch's Lois are from completely different worlds, but I could easily believe they've known each other for years. I love Superman and Lois, but in another reality, I wouldn't mind seeing Routh's Superman interacting with this Lois.

I'm still pissed of that they haven't released this crossover in Region 1 format for American audiences. It's only been released for Regions 2 & 4.
After all, they released the other crossovers for Region 1. Plus, these were American TV shows, made in America for American audiences.
I know that I could buy the Supergirl, Flash, and Green Arrow DVDs for the right seasons, but that's a lot of money, and it shouldn't be necessary (see the above comment about them releasing the other crossovers on DVD).

The live action numbering is different
The other-media adaptations exist in a separate Multiverse to the ones in the comics, and thus have different Earth-designations to the source stories; ofc they all exist within DC Hypertime.
Christopher reeve/Brandon routh's superman is the live action variant of the original KC superman. They just took some pieces from the storyline and made it different but almost the same thing just not including the justice league.

Yeah I reviewed it, he stabbed her with her own desk piece. At work. Ok so then since joker was involved in the gassing on earth 96 also killing Lois. Then I get the kingdom come continuity reference. However, black and red Superman came out in the animated series first, Lois death at the hands of a bomb had also born sovereign Superman. Hard to tell apart based on Lois death.
