    It’s hard because healthcare is suited to someone’s anatomy and physiology and not only is the “bottom” surgery still wildly experimental and mental health being ignored, but it’s ultimately a battle between being socially correct or “cancelled”. The trans community want to go to their new gender doctors when that’s not what they have going on biologically and these facts are being ignored.

    I had seen a shortfilm in India where transgenders are recognized not others of LGBTQA spectrum. They are identified but stil no healthcare!!! There should be healthcare for all. It should be ok for partner to buy insurance for their same gender partner. It should be ok for them to sign their medical papers! Simple step starts from asking them if they want to be attnded by male or female healthcare professionals.

    The thing is. As someone training to be a doctor I understand completely where he is coming from, but this is a system that barely trains us in “standard” medicine. Most healthcare systems are on the verge of collapse in Europe and most doctors don’t have the time, knowledge, resources and training to actively train new doctors in these cases. Medicine is genderised quite literally by nature - it has to be, because of biology. Hopefully, a doctor will be compassionate and professional enough to educate themselves when taking on a new patient who happens to be queer.

      I would ask that you try to understand our plight and that these life saving operations are exactly what so many of us need to feel normal and get relief from the endless misery we go through while living as the wrong gender. It’s demeaning how you call it mutilation and we are simply people who want to exist normally like the rest of the world does. I’d recommend you take the time to find personal testimonials of those who have undergone gender affirming surgery and hear the genuine good that we get from it. Suicide rates among trans people are so high: 80% having contemplated it, 40% actually attempting it, and the highest rates and frequencies are amongst the youth. These are children in pain that see no escape who you are belittling when you talk like this. What if it was your child? Genuinely consider if a loved one of your own had contemplated, attempted, or even succeeded in ending their own life, because people like you mock and dehumanize us for simply asking for help. Please understand that we are all people and that we have to care for each other.

      @@JadenDuprezyou are so close minded to believe you can tell me and others how we feel. I find it sad that you’re the type of person who feels empowered to try and dictate others’ lives to them whilst still being so brainwashed into believing something you’ve never taken into serious consideration or contemplation. How have you come to your conclusions? Because a teacher told you, your mom or dad, a pastor? Some authority figure that you don’t have enough of a sense of self interest to ever question. I hope you change and grow into someone who thinks for themselves and doesn’t go around projecting your own insecurities of having to live in a world that you have no control or agency in. Go ahead and think I’m crazy, it doesn’t change the fact that I’ve had substantial and impactful joy from my transition and I pity you for being just another mouthpiece for someone who doesn’t care to know who you really are or give you the space to find it.

      @ I struggled with gender dysphoria as a child. It’s an illness. The cure is to learn to accept yourself as you are. I’m just stating facts. You *literally* cannot feel like something you have never been. A man cannot know what it feels to be a woman just as he cannot know what it feels to be a cat. No matter how feminine or masculine someone naturally is, it doesn’t change reality.

    • @Autumn-Bomb
      @Autumn-Bomb 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Okay, first off I’d like to apologize for showing my own ignorance, I wouldn’t have guessed you had suffered through that yourself and I’m really sorry you went through that. Now I don’t know how lost in this sauce you are but for the sake of a sincere conversation I want to humor you here. Not every trans person believes they think and feel like their true gender at first and many of us struggle with that line of thinking as a form of imposter syndrome and use it as dual to believe the lies about us. Sure, some people know exactly how they feel and who they are from birth, I was not one of those lucky ones and struggled to accept myself because of this very same thought. “I’m a man appropriating womanhood”, “I can never understand how women think and feel so I should give it up”, etc. These are all lies to try and stifle those who were not educated enough at an early age or who even felt they were allowed to explore who they really are. Being trans doesn’t come from how femme or masc you are, often that dissonance is exactly why we suffer dysphoria, we’re trans because this is what we’ve always wanted deep down, where we make sense to ourselves and feel accepted. I’m not appropriating womanhood as a trans woman, women were the first to educate and encourage me for one, but I’ve been unlearning parts of my life as a daughter raised to be a son. It’s not fair that we go through this and then have people who want to feed our worst fears so we can close ourselves off and give up on our lives. Reality is that man and woman are ideas that we as humans created and thus we can learn and grown to understand the true nuance of this. Trans people have always and will always exist whether we are accepted or not. I truly hope you haven’t cut off that part of yourself, if you honestly deep down want to be a woman, because life is too short to say no to ourselves because someone else doesn’t get it. If you want to talk genuinely then I am open to talking things over but if you’ve truly bought into this idea that we can’t be who we are than I am sorry for you and I hope you will change your mind one day, for others’ sake if not your own. Thank you for your honesty today, that meant a lot to hear you admit it even if you spun it right back to bigotry. Take care of yourself.
