I'm getting ready to leave a massive company due to my team manager not understanding what was just covered in this video. Great topic. Quality starts at conception of a project.
No problem. I'm sure you are familiar with Whiting-Turner. I am leaving there and going to a much smaller venture to be a site superintendent. Been brushing up with your videos. Thank you.
@bosseurinc. I'm sorry to hear that. I would put it out there publicly what they did. Others need to know what is going in within these places. In some cases it is creating dangerous environments for clients
Great video, Jason! 👷♂️🏗️ I really enjoyed the detailed breakdown of the different roles on a construction site. 🛠️ I would love to see more information on the subcategories within these roles. Specifically, it would be incredibly helpful if you could link to any sort of map or chart that outlines the responsibilities of each partner with a detailed description. 📊🔍 I’m not sure if you’ve already done this, but it would be a fantastic addition to your content. Also, as a quality control specialist, I find my role very similar to that of a field engineer. It would be great to see more content on how these roles overlap and differ. I think it would be very helpful to companies that are looking for better structures to their systems. It would be great if you could provide a map or chart because some of us are very visual and we like to be able to see things in order to remember them better. Thanks again for the great content! 👍
Superintendent cannot drive the nails so to speak I believe you have to hire quality contractors to perform scopes of work companies that seek low bidders which is 90% of the industry kills Project.

I completely agree. I am sorry this is happening to you.

I just got fired from a company because of my constant pointing out of bad quality building and cutting corners.

And who and how knows who is a "quality contractor"? Who will ensure this contractor deploys quality, so to speak, this one time?
