Trouble with this is that the determination as to whether something said is hate speech will be made in court. All it takes is one nut-job judge to make a radical ruling and the whole thing gets out of hand.
The few times in my life I have had any in put into hiring people I have been predjudice in the extreme and hired who I thought could do the job without ruffling the feathers of the customers coming in the front door of the business. Thankfully I was never confronted with what walks the streets these days.
