Turned my first TRX Sport into a Defender for trail off roading. Got another TRX 4 Sport, this time going to keep it stock except for a new servo. Best crawler out there for the money. Hope everyone is enjoying theirs!
That engine sound system is wicked I just got one for my Traxxas defender.

The sport was my first crawler and I love it to death. New tires and the rack (and accessories for the rack) were necessary for me. The stock tires are fine, I just wanted wanted them to look cooler.

Got the trx4 chassis kit. With a crap ton of mods. Castle x esc. Tekkin roc 412. Proline shocks. Mip drive shafts. Vanquish wheels and super swamper tires. I love my trx4. Its awesome and crawls almost anything. Traxxas is where its at. Also got a traxxas maxx 😁

The trx 4 sport was my first ever crawler (got it in 2020) and got to say i LOVE IT
I got the rack, snorkel and some proline wheels and tires and it is AWESOME
plan to get another by the summer time but leave it stock not gonna lie it performs amazing stock but i wanted to spend some money so i bought it what i got

I decided to leave the hobby for a year! Here a few months ago I decided to get back into the hobby. I bought a Red TRX-4 Sport and it was awesome! Then I flipped the bumper mounts, pulled off the running boards and added 3mm set screws the breather holes in the wheels. After testing it running a 3s 1'400-mah 50c. I wasn't really sure about the overall weight!! It felt a little on the heavy side, compared to the XJ. Now that I have removed the bumpers and rock sliders, this little Sport is just shy of unstoppable!!! It goes everywhere its pointed!!!! It took me a while to get used to driving a heavier truck. I am very happy with my Sport now! I have one that floats on Sand, Snow, and Water 💧 its virtually unstoppable!!!!! Now I have had 6 RTR Sports two with the Sport Traxx two tan and two red ones, I run my Sport 99% stock now. The only thing I change is the Pinion, I run a 22-39 on 3s and it still manages to climb 95% of everything I point it at!!! 😎
I also love the stock Canyon Trail All Terrain Tires, they are my favorite rtr Tires!!! 😎

I want to buya sport but ive heard the steering servos are weak and stop working with in minutes of normal usage :/
Just buy a savox.
Everyone has different experiences. Mine and nephew's are both over a year old and no issues. Yes I wish it was a bit stronger but until it dies or I kill it I'm keeping it
@@jdsrcs8061 So over a year with it all stock? Did you ever put the servo under some extreme test or was it normal use?
@@Vato_Loco_rc Hey bro!?! Yes we have put the servos through both very hard use in crazy rock crawling and normal use trail driving. In rock crawling the servo is weak as far as from getting wedged between rocks but they have not broken or stripped gears in the servos. A stronger servo can get out of being wedged.

Still amazes me how you guys can delete body clips on bashers but the "scale crawlers" that should have none still have them... Lol
Pins are less noticeable than a locking mechanism sticking out and it lighter
@@rattlehead7281 I wouldn't do the lock mechanism but I mean if they can figure that out I'm sure they can figure out a way to hide them or another mounting option like other companies do
