Hey I was gonna ask, do you know anything about intestinal parasites ? I have some round worms and I’m gonna take meds for it but do you know any foods good against them?
I’m like in really bad shape rn. The doctor said I can’t take it until the morning but I have tons and tons of worms. It’s disgusting. My mom and step dad always thought my vegan diet was deteriorating me but then I shit like 728272 worms and that’s what was wrong with me. Thanks and sorry for this disgusting comment about worms. But be aware of them. Because I had it all started with constipation and then I started basically dying of loosing weight and malnutrition

What an amazing podcast! I never heard of him before and I am so glad I got to know him now, because I’m really interested in living this kind of lifestyle but I just never knew if it was even possible! Definitely going to follow his journey! Thanks again Ferdinand!

I'll talk about it in an upcoming ASK ME MONDAYS 💚 And if I have a guest who has done that (I have no doubt I'll have one someday) I will ask him about the process.

I follow Jackson and I respect a lot of his content and I'm sure his intentions to warn people and help them recover from EDs are good and genuine, however, the fact that he got all brainwashed by the 80/10/10 fruitarian movement probably during their festivals, doesn't entirely justify telling people eating things like fried white flour products and veggie dogs is suddenly a good idea to strive for on a regular basis. Though even trying to eat whole foods plant-based in social settings isn't always easy or achievable just throwing all the principles of clean eating over-board for the sake of social comfort, convenience or ED-recovery isn't very clever and might compromise health long-term and potentially lead to food addiction or binge eating, so basically another ED. Of course, there is the 80/20 rule if one eats clean 80% of the time having some less sustainable food 20% of the time shouldn't be that much of an issue, yet for people with food sensitivities or true food addicts even this might cause relapse issues, kinda like with former alcoholics, most of them are better off not drinking another drop ever and offering such a person a drink isn't in their best interest even if you're thinking it's to make them feel socially comfortable. The problem with the raw diet is likely that it's too strict and can thus easily lead to (caloric) deficiencies, whereas a low-fat whole plant-based diet centred around whole starchy foods is far easier to maintain long-term and while travelling and get sufficient calories and nutrients from. I'll probably be invited to a birthday party in the coming months and we usually visit the usual restaurant, where I'll no doubt end up eating the house salad, just without egg, bacon and cheezzze, cause even their vegetarian dish has been prepared with ghee and/or tonnes of oil and comes with a tiny amount of white rice to leave even small old ladies feel hungry after eating it. Don't worry I'll eat in advance and take a tonne of dates to put on the salad so I'll at least get my basic calories in so I won't faint during the party or be tempted to eat white bread with oily olive or tomato paste.
