Hey quick correction about the watch hours resetting: watch hours don’t reset back to 0 after a year. TH-cam counts the watch hours of your last 365 days as a rolling calendar. So every day, TH-cam adds the watch hours you’ve earned for the new day and drops the hours from 366 days ago. Hope this helps. Great video 🫶🏾

Hi keep it up. Create a schedule and upload consistently. I started my channel last year. It took me one year to get 4000 watch hours and monetized last week. Once I started uploading three times per week, I reached monetization quickly.
I know this might come off as silly Question but to just get to know i wanted to ask , does the 12 month watch hours target period start when we start a new channel at any given time of year and end on that same date next year, or the watch hours reset by the end of specific year? means if i start my channel in october and gained 100 hrs watch time then will it go away and reset to zero by the end of year?
Watch hours don’t reset to 0! They’re counted like a rolling calendar - TH-cam counts the watch hours of your last 365 days at any given time. So every day, you earn the watch hours of a new day and lose the watch hours of the day 366 days ago. But it never resets to 0 unless you just don’t earn any watch hours for a full year meaning there’s nothing to count for the past 365 days. Hope this helps! 💛
