😂😂😂
Bucee's is no joke. Not only do they have affordable gas and an insane assortment of food offerings, their bathrooms are spotless and they take really good care of their workers. A store manager salary there is about a much as a senior engineer in my industry. Proof that if you take care of your people and customers, you'll attract the right talent.
Thank you for sharing your experience at Buc-ee's! It's inspiring to see a company value their employees and customers so much.
I love your sense of adventure. It’s nice to see a couple who actually LIKE each other and have fun together! Y’all are adorbs! 😁❤️❤️😁
Your comment made our day! We're glad you enjoy watching us have fun together. Thanks for watching
They are definitely couple goals, as tired as that phrase may be, but they embody the sentiment 100%
buccees is basically the best truckstop in the world. if youre going on a road trip, its the best place to fill up and grab some snacks.
Yes, we have not been to anything like it before. Thanks for watching!
Buc-ee's is not a truck stop! They keep 18 wheelers out! They wanted it to be more of a family experience! I'm originally from the area they started! When I first heard this idea, I thought they was crazy! But obviously they knew what they was doing!
Funny. A truck stop that bans trucks?
Buccees is fun for sure but they are stupid expensive.
I wish they had allowed truck parking when I was in that business.
What is crazy is how busy all of their locations are EVERY day. Buc-ee's is awesome.
We really enjoyed the experience and it was so busy! Thanks for watching
Buccee was my brother in-law's best friend. He died in a car wreck when they were 17. His brother bought a little Texaco station on Hwy 332 going to Surfside Beach TX. Named it Buccee's sold swimwear and beach stuff and the rest his history. Rich man today! From a small gas station 😊
There are now two different origin stories in these comments for Buccees and they are vastly different. Which one is true?
@@bf5175 not this one.
@@bf5175Google it and find out this guy is full of beaver nuggets and not the kind sold at Buccee's
@@bf5175 Check out Company Man's video on Buc-ee's.
The founder of buc-ee's is named Arch (beaver) Aplin 3 open the first store in clute Texas. The headquarters is right down the road from the first buc-ee's! The name comes from his Labrador retriever name (Buck) and Arch nickname Beaver as a kid. Bucky the beaver! The stores are called buc-ee's the the beaver name is bucky! Then Arch and Don Wasek partnered up, to form what you see today! I think the second store was in brazoria, or Freeport Texas then came the Surfside store. But I didn't completely remember for sure! But I do know the clute store was the first one!
The South....where even our gas station food is better than most upscale restaurants anywhere else
Better food, better service, better selections, just as fresh and more overall items.
Beaver Nuggets taste like Cap'n Crunch cereal.
Your so right! That's what they tasted like!
Yeah, no. Basically it's Kellogg's Corn Pops on steroids.
😂🎉
We always gave sugared pecans as a Thinking of You gift at Christmas.
That is such a nice idea and they are delicious too. 😀
Did you check out the bathrooms???!! lol! Weird question but the nicest you’ll find on the road!
Absolutely, We can confirm they were spotlessly clean! Thanks for watching
@@thebritstry lol awesome!! I prefer the bathrooms in England, more privacy and Buc-ee’s is like that!
So true 👍
Stumbled across this channel yesterday and I'm glad I did! Super wholesome couple, you guys deserve the views! Keep up the great content.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Your comment made our day. We really appreciate you giving our channel a chance!
Andrew, that was so funny, loved the " less chat, more attack! " 😂 I'd feel the same way with fudge in front of me! Tasty treats , you two! I can't wait until I get to visit one! 😊
Lol! Glad you caught that "less chat, more attack" moment! Fudge can be a serious distraction, it was delicious. Thanks for watching
@thebritstry totally understandable! It's fun to watch. I'm glad you both enjoyed it.
The brisket sandwich is so good. But getting in and out of the parking lot can be a pain. Also my pet peeve is people who pump fuel and then don’t move to a parking spot to go inside.
Those bars look like a Moon Pie. Another southern delicacy.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The brisket sandwich was a real favorite of ours. Surprisingly we didn't actually fill up with gas😂
Leaving your car at the pump while you go inside is part of their business model and why they have so many pumps. Their studies have shown that if people have to move their car after pumping gas, they're more likely to just keep driving and not go inside to shop.
The key for fueling and shopping is to pick a spot on the outside, not right in front of the store. Also, it helps to know exactly what you're going to buy. Fountain drink, lemon cookies, and a pulled pork sandwich takes me less than 5 minutes if there's no line at the register.
I always park at the pumps. There is something special when you tell them what pump you're on, then they turn on the cameras, and show you your car for verification.
OK now Buccees is everything! I am from Miami back in 2018 we moved to Texas lived there for about four years and when I went to Bucees for the first time, it was just the most amazing experience. Fast forward to 2022 we relocated back to Florida now we live in Orlando and a few weeks ago. We were on our way to see my sister-in-law in Saint Augustine and on the way we saw Bucees. Of course we had to stop! Beaver nuts!!!!
They are so amazing and so big! They have so much fun things in them and so much great food!
Buc-ees has come to FL?? Sweet! Hope they make it down here to the bottom of the state.
@@crisl9079 There are 2 along I-95. I think the other one is by Daytona Beach. Then there is one on I-10 just after you cross the border Florida state line after Pensacola into Alabama.
@ketoauntie7301 Cool.👍🏼
I think I saw Andrew's soul leave his body temporarily when he bit into the fudge.
Lol! ... Thanks for noticing Andrew's reaction, He has the sweetest tooth in the world.
Texas is the best place in the world I'm from Sweden visiting family in Texas and my uncle took me here I was there for hours
Goo Goo Cluster. Made in TN. 😊

That crumbled brisket sandwich actually melts in your mouth…like barbecue pricks….I love them.
The sandwich we had was delicious
poprocks…….fuck
I had the brisket sandwich and it was the the worst thing I've ever tasted. And I once was using a weed whacker and splattered dog poop into my mouth.
@DarkElfDiva what bucuee did you go to?
@@asiaroberson3442 Same one, the one near Nashville.
At Buc-ee's you can get free samples of every single Jerky, Ring Sausage, Fudge, and meats that they put on the sandwiches! You'll be almost full before you even buy anything to eat!
hahaha "Less chat more attack"..thats my boy. I love you two you are so great together. Another fun filled video that lets me experience something I cant experience on my own even though Im born and raised American. Im in SE TN. Thank you both for letting me tag along with you on your fun journies. The way you two eat rich foods you're going to have to start walking to your next destination to work it off :P
Thanks for watching and joining us on our fun-filled journeys! Keep the comments coming, This has made our evening. Let us know if you think we should try anything or anywhere else?
Bucees is definitely an experience you have to see for yourself. When yall come back to Louisiana, be sure to stop at the gas stations for food. We have the best 🥰 Crackilns, boudin, gator bites, hot plates, the list is long. The best cracklins are at Rascals Exxon in Scott, La.
Thank you for the recommendation! I'll definitely try and head to Rascals Exxon in Scott, La for some cracklins in the future.
@@thebritstry their boudin balls are pretty good too now. Y'all have safe travels 💜

My bride loves Buc-ee's. We stumbled upon this place during vacation in 2023. The huge one in Tennessee is incredible.
It was so good! we would have loved to visit the Tennessee one. What was your favorite thing?

Bucees is so clean, they even scrub the lanes between all of the gas pumps.

You two are so fun, cute together, and refreshing... I really enjoy your commentary. Keep up the story and come see the midwest, it's not as exciting; however, it's very down-to-earth, and welcoming.
Thank you! The Midwest is in our list of places to visit! 🤗

I love your videos sometimes you remind me of the Sesame Street Characters Bert and Ernie with your interactions and banter it's funny and hilarious I love it!!!!!
Just wait until you see my next video where I break out into a song about rubber duckies! Kidding aside, we are thrilled that you see a resemblance to Bert and Ernie in our banter. We are just trying to have fun! Thank you for watching
This is a great video. I like to watch reaction videos. Yours are the real thing, not a rebroadcast of someone elses stuff. You guys could be my neighbors.
In the Old West (also Australian Outback) cowboys would live off beef jerky and coffee for months, occasionally having money for rancid bacon and beans. It was portable in your pocket, cheap, reasonably free of bacteria and mold, and could be cleaned up and made soft and greasy with a small fire. The native Americans made deer or venison jerky for centuries as it got them through long, cold winters when corn meal would run out and game was scarce. There were similar dried and salted meats around the world, some dating back thousands of years and usually used by nomadic people who had no ability to keep livestock or stocked gardens.
Thanks Larry 😊
Pemmican lasts maybe for "forever".
Great video, they have the best fudge there, amazing selection!
Thanks for sharing! The fudge selection really is top-notch, it's tough to just choose one!

Really love your videos! Both yours and Jolly's brit reaction videos are very wholesome and fun. I do enjoy the cussing irish folks who punctuate with eff words, but yours are on a whole different level. When you can be this entertaining and honest it speaks volumes. I'm so happy that you have found some of the amazing elements of American cuisine. I always get the same thing at Buc-ees. The XXL Brisket sandwich , an Overbite (either milk chocolate or caramel) and a diet root beer -LOL
Love Buc-ee's. There is one about an hour away from me now and one on the north side of Atlanta. I've also been to the currently biggest one in Sevierville TN. Oh, and I lived in Texas for 8 years so visited quite a few there.

I think this is the New Braunfels TX location. The 2nd biggest gas station in the United States and 1 in Texas.
Buccee’s brisket is definitely not the best but for a roadtrip sammich, they are quite good.
I prefer the chopped brisket to the sliced, but I think they are pretty darn good.

Never had Jerky before and they start off with the fancy stuff, talk about setting the bar high.
Fresh made cinnamon rolls are best served warmed and smothered in melted butter.
They are our new favorite thing after trying them at Buc-ees, adding melted butter sounds great, thanks for the advice.
Love you guys! According to my late Texan uncle the proper pronunciation of the nut is Pee-caahn. He always said that a PeeCan is something old people kept under a bed for late night emergencies! LOL

In Texas, the pecan (pea-con) as we say here, is a soft nut in natural, and they grow all over the place in central and south Texas - mostly in the country. Glad you enjoyed our Buccee's - near Houston (where I'm from) and surrounding areas we have I think four Buccee's; Baytown, Katy (with the largest car wash) Waller, Muesche Rd.
The only gas station in the world where shopping carts are offered! There is a Buc-ee's near me in Fort Worth with another one planned. Here is a little history. Founder Arch "Beaver" Aplin opened his first store as partners in Clute, Texas in 1982. Aplin formed the name Buc-ee's by combining his childhood nickname; the name of his Labrador Retriever, Buck; as well as the appeal of Ipana toothpaste's animated mascot, Bucky the beaver.
There are now two different origin stories in these comments for Buccees and they are vastly different. Which one is true?
Thank you for the information!
Nope. Although I think Buccee's is far bigger, we have Kwik Trip in the north, and some of their truck stops and just their regular gas stations offer carts. They have their own brands of chips, ice cream, drinks, candies, and jerky that are all store brand.
