Lyric Rewrite and Cover - This Wish (Prayer to the Stars)

My rewrite of "This Wish" from Disney's Wish. I decided to get rid of all the slant rhymes so it would sound more like a musical theater piece. The instrumental is the demo, slowed to 90%. I transposed the key from F to G, since the original key was a little too low for me. Sorry if the sound balance is a little off; I'm not very good at that sort of thing.

The original "I want" song had a want that was so vague that it didn't even count. If it was away from the movie, no one would get it. For this version, I can actually understand context if I excluded the movie. The wish is definitive. Good job.

Although I like "This Wish" more than most people (I genuinely have so little problems with this song, I'm throwing caution to warning signs, I guess), this was a very interesting and passionate version. I also love how your soprano voice makes this feel like one of the more classical songs, like "Someday My Prince Will Come" and "A Dream is A Wish Your Heart Makes". A very good return to form. The story-specific and more diversified lyrics also make this very unique and better for plot progression. This is great, really.
