Disney and Lucasfilm were quick to tout the success of The Acolyte on Disney Plus, noting how its debut was outpacing Ahsoka in viewership. Well, a few days later we heard a very different story, with Leslye Headland's insulting propoganda program falling short of Ahsoka's five-day viewership by several MILLION people. What does this mean for The Acolyte and the future of Star Wars? Probably nothing... But let's talk about it!

Yeah I think at this point I'm watching just out of simple disbelief that something this badly written actually got made. I'm not even talking about big stuff but like basic writing is just a complete failure. I've seen plenty of movies where they're very ham-fisted with Exposition but very rarely have I seen multiple situations where characters in a story simply discuss things they both know out loud for no apparent reason.

Screaming Lesbian Witches, that the most I need to see to see why Star Wars is dead and buried, and since I have seen that clip online, I don't feel any need to watch the rest of the show. And knowing Disney, they're going to continue to beat that dead horse, even after the last bit of fans walk away. Your review though, without even seeing either one, I'm sure will be a billion times more entertaining than the show itself. Anyways, on to your other video, thank you.

Well this show will be forgotten fast..too bad that disney has the money to Keep this up.
Also the agenda if course but unless SW starts to REALLY hurt money gaining..this will just go on untill the Apocalypse

After episode 3 I don’t even know what’s gonna happen next. My Disney plus subscription ends at the end of the month I might not finish out the show or I’ll just hop on the pirate ship for it.

I was thinking very much the same thing. Maybe a lot of the budget went to later episodes, but so far it does feel oddly cheap.

Not only does it look cheap but it’s ludicrously expensive. Each episode is several Godzilla Minus Ones in terms of cost.

@@TooneyTownTV Frankly,any Anakin scene is a good one compared to what we've gotten. 180 million for mama YAAASS and a flammable stone castle. They could've made a decent live action Vader with that money.
