Love the story time man especially the " made it sound like we just had to fire it up and load it get there and its setting on all flat tires ,no batteries etc etc" 🤣🤣 lol damn
Robert Stock Preston ID Warren you are funny as hell to listen to your story's you tell i have really enjoyed watching your videos very interesting all the different types of things you take on keep it up you are awesome
Good times Warren. Stunning scenery on the test drive. I love watching this old stuff of yours, so many memories of my time in the States are brought back, thank you for it.

Admire your skills and really appreciate the difference between a shop mechanic and field mechanic. A person just starting out could benefit big time from working with a mechanic like yourself. Thanks and keep up the honest, hard work.
Yes we live in Nikiski Alaska but we waited to retire before we moved to Alaska from The Dalles Oregon lol and yes we have snow tell the end of March love your videos I used to be a mechanic for John Deere Bakersfield California west side loved it
Thank you very much for the videos.i work at wal-mart changing oil and tires and every day look forwards to watch your videos.just like say THANK YOU BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY
A set of hose removal pliers would help a lot. They grip the hose all the way around without putting too much pressure in one spot. Makes hard hoses much easier to remove.
I recognize that this may not be the most popular or correct opinion, but when it comes to Marijuana and hemp or whatnot, I say we oughta tax it and treat it like we do tobacco or alcohol. We tried prohibition with alcohol back in the 20s and 30s and it did nobody any good in the long term. I mean with a sane tax and a bit of minor regulation it oughta not only pay for itself but help take burden off tax revenue for other more important things.
It does the opposite belive it or not here in southern California the black market has boomed because people dont want to pay the taxes a gram of good weed goes for $15 and in the legal store it is $30
@@timmensch3601 I know of a few "illegal" growers who sell their yields directly to black market dealers. They completely circumvent taxes and state regulations. At a huge risk...with huge payoffs.
Hello I am a new subscriber been watching for awhile just learned how to get on, I m am a welder mechanic for 40 plus years now I'm from West Virginia and do heavy mining equipment for surface and underground mining ,love you videos
Another great video Warren. One thing though not sure if was wise to say about sugar and then give what to use..... Seems like your days have been "interesting" certainly could not say they have been boring :). Keep safe you and your family always.
I agree Warren, also I can prove you are incorrect about Sugar as I have an engine to show you what happens when someone puts sugar in it. Have law enforcement to back me up and a lab test to boot. It ruined a valued engine.
Glad you're back and doing good. I thought our area was the only one that was going crazy. We have had some odd shit going on to. Some of these family farm's around here i think they are going bat shit crazy with this long winter. Hopefully you found Trouble and he's doing okay.
i just love how you are talking to yourself ,..just like i do :D ----> but you are filming your work for us and make me feel i am actually there with you----> throwing me spitballs what could be wrong here please never stop doing that my man ;) much love from the Netherlands
All the crazy things you have to do in the field. The country Church bus story, short form: Drove 60 miles to look at their bus (no brakes, 68 GMC hydrovac)call date 1992, went looked, all the brake lines rusted and rotten, told them the bus was not worth the ruff Estimate $3500 to completely replace all parts from pedal out to drums and shoes. Felt so bad I didn't charge them for the call. I happen to read in the wkly county news a couple wks later (headline) "Local Church Bus Driven Into Lake" after brake failure with *footnote* Don't use copper gas line parts for brake lines !!!
I always liked the Cat 3208's. We got them in all 5 old New Holland combines we still run. You can't run em hot though. I had trouble with one not shutting down from the cab sometimes, we got used for parts. it ended up being the feul soleniod and arm assembly was rusted up from setting so long outside. Pulled the solenoid and some wd40 took care of it.
I like them also and have had great success with them also. Cat will be more than happy to inform you that they are certainly not throw away, they just aren't sleeved and they require proper care and they will perform and last a long time. Like any engine it is how they are treated.
Great story Warren, I know what you mean about saying no to cirtain jobs, it not till you get there and see what you said yes to ,then you whish you'd said No! . Sometimes we get punished for our kindnesses. Lol. Thanks for the videos Warren ,all the best .Stuart.
I had my gas tank sugared once- almost ruined a brand new demon carb on a 383. The sugar turned to caramel and coated everything from the carb down, extremely difficult to clean up. Definitly not a wives tale
I used to use a Chevron jobber for diesel and petro products out of Ventura that had a fleet of'em behind Allisons in their GMC tank wagons. Started off pretty good, great efficiency...but when things go bad on a 3208, they go bad REAL bad. Cyl wall porosity, even using SC2 in the cooling systems, was the first thing to go to crap, blown head gaskets, cracked heads, busted rods through the block (although the Cummins 5.9 seems to be king there)...not a great highway engine at all. Some operators using them in local delivery not requiring sustained RPM (like conventional school buses) seem to run them forever. Marine apps, where 2800 is most of its life, not so good. Heavy equip and combines/tractors...it's 50/50. Guys who service their equipment regularly seem to get more life out of them, but that goes for any engine. Almost as bad as the old GMC Div. ToroFlows of the '60s. Now THERE was a nightmare....typical GM quickie engineering to try to corner a market.
26:24 those knipex are designed to be used as a wrench for hex heads (for that they work surprisingly well). Because they are for that specific purpose they will suck as regular pliers.
Those nippex are great I use them lots spring brake Air lines you you can just go back and forth like a ratchet when you set them right there good for sheet metal to straighten edge's and such
your comment on two people running steering and throttle reminds me being a young teenager here in OHIO, we would get drunk on the back roads and the person that could see straight steered from the passenger side and the one seeing double would operate the gas and brake. LOL.
There is a powder thing or two that you can pour into a gasoline tank to time delay cause it to catch fire and possibly explode. At least according to a firefighter trained in arson investigation I used to know. I'm not sure if the current formulation of this stuff still works, but I can see grapevine substituting products into something that just makes a mess.
Got a local greenhouse operation that was switched over to growing dope about 5 years ago. The place grew a lot of food. They never grew dope. It's now abandoned and producing nothing. Ontario Canada. Sad

Back pressure would be the tube clogged up . Typical problem
Keep the Vids coming. I like them.
Did you verify that the compressor wasn't what was blowing air into cooling system?
How exactly could that happen?
Air compressors are cooled by antifreeze. A gasket could go or something could crack letting air go into cooling system.
