Love your instruction Shaun. Real world coaching applicable to the grass roots to elite level. Can run for 20 mins with the same set up and slight variations

I almost couldn’t watch all of this
Okay I don’t mean the coach. Coach did great in this video. This is a great drill to add to my repertoire with lots of things covered at once. (Sprint in my drills so we don’t have to run later) He communicates well too.
But I can’t walk away. The players… oh geez
You can hate for me sounding negative but they know better. This was a bad showing. And Coach even called them out for it.
But for you coaches watching here’s some things to look for (and then avoid like the plague)
Watch how many pop the ball up when they trap.
Watch how many pop the ball up when they pass.
Keep.it.on.the.ground! (Including shooting)
(Okay moving out of JV ball now…)
No pace in their movement
No pace in the passing
No sprint in their “sprint”
No control in their dribble
No control in their first touch
Don’t hit the cones: everyone keeps hitting the cones (a lot is the issue)
On top of it they were talking while coach was giving directions (near the beginning). Really?!
As Champions yeah, players you get a D from me. And if it’s so easy lets see you show it.
You CAN do better. Show us the way.
