Thanks buddy I was on the right track noticed the stick was making my preview drift ever so slowly but thanks to you I know what deadpan is all about. 😄
SOLVED! FOUND PROPER FIX! Thank Adam that u r pointing out those quick solutions but there r not perfect as we all know. From my personal experience in case of trim, never was so solid as i was flying or it drifting again when changing modes. Then i see Deadband here but it was clear NO for me cause is a downgrade. My drift started when i Change from a XR602T-A to a Flysky X8B receiver. Today i tested again with my previous RX with his chopped antennas. NO DRIFT! Thank God i found my quad after 1 hour in Dark :D SOLUTION: BAD or DAMAGED RECEIVER
@@RCwithAdam1 I made further tests those days that i wanted to share with u guys. I installed a new one receiver but drifting again! For interference exclusion, I tried without any heat shrink neither on antenna nor on the receiver, as on different places but nothing solved. When i swap to my CROSSOVER RX XR602T-A even without antennas, then NO DRIFT! How can u guys explain that?
I was just pressing those buttons on the i6x without knowing that lol I guess I understand now why the poor tinyhawk was drifting that much Thans Adam!!
@@RCwithAdam1 I commented this reffering to a qx90 brushed but that quad is decommissioned now. I just finished building my first 5 inch and if your on instagram you can see it @ inertia_fpv. I am also planning on adding more quad stuff to my new youtube channel here: th-cam.com/video/lznvmSqzz9k/w-d-xo.html
I tried to compensate that with expo... And it flew worse and worse. Just begun to live with it. But than booom, this video came out. Haven't tested it yet but thanks anyway!
Hey Adam, I did what you recommended in this video. My quad was slowing rolling left until I did this. I also calibrated my accelerometer. All my trims are set to zero. However when I get my quad up it starts out fine and then slowly starts rolling left worse and worse. Using a Turnigy Evolution, which I also calibrated the gimbels on. Any other suggestions?
Hi! Does it start rolling when connected to betaflight, or only during flight? Could be a bad gyro, or maybe the flight controller mount is a little loose?
@@RCwithAdam1 thanks for replying. It only does it flight, not in Betaflight. I was using 3s batteries at the time, and my motors and stack were getting very hot. I tried it on 2s on the left roll stopped. The stack and motors aren't getting hot anymore either. Not sure why it does it on 3s and not 2s but at least it's flyable. It also fly rights in acro on 3or2s.
Hi Kumar! That is pretty common, also due to the quality of the gimbals. It's fine. The important thing is being able to move the gimbal so that the maximum and minimum positions are higher and lower, respectively, than the max and min values shown in betaflight. For example, if the throttle minimum value is 1000, but your throttle stick could only move to 1100, then you would never be able to reach the motor "idle" value, which could make arming impossible (throttle must be below a certain value before the flight controller allows the quad to be armed). Does this help?
I have facing same isse but have searched many video but no one solved my problems...but your video solved it today of ❤F450 quard.
Thanks Adam. I had to go into the subtrim and adjust the settings. I'm now at 1500 for the top four. Cheers.
Fantastic! 👍

Glad you found a solution that worked for you! 🙌

As soon as you said deadband the penny dropped, thanks for the video.

Thans Adam!!
lol that would explain it!
Thanks Adam! I built a quad today and it did this so this video was really helpful!
Hi! Congrats! What kind did you build?

great tip. hope your set up video for this drone helps me set up my mobula 7 i just bought.
this drifts are not happening in acro mode right? only in stablilazed modes?

I subbed because the way you said computer had me laughing for a good 10 minutes 😂
Thank you so much !
Great Info, Bless Up
I'm at work but if this fixes my drift when I get home I'm sending you virtual high five and hugs
thanks for the video.
THX!!! really helped me out here !
Glad it helped!
what if it's less than 1500 ? can i use negative number in deadband?
How to do this with a betafpv literadio 2? It's got no screen and no trim buttons..
Which type of USB cable we have to use
probably a usb micro to regular usb data cable
When i roll the drone it rolls slowly and Recalubrate slowly how can i fix it 😢

It's happening the same with me, it's starting to get annoying always landing to restart it, did u figured it out?
My roll is 1505 and my pitch is 1501 so can i dead band this for the roll too?
Yep.
I have a apm2.8 hiw to fix in mission planner
Pls help me out
What is the problem your having with it?
@@RCwithAdam1 there is glittering in my gimbal I use fsi6 tx and my apm2.8 is drifting in loiter
Huzzah!!!
my throttle is showing at 988 and not 1000, is that ok?

@@RCwithAdam1 thank you 🌞
my goddamn bars ain‘t even moving, i‘m soon starting to cr
But mine is drifting with 32 lol
That sounds like a physical issue with the transmitter gimbal
