For real. I'd be comatose for a day or two after that.
autopilot ;) hahaha
Wow I didn't realize how dense and big that steak was until you flipped it over at 3:28! I've eaten one about half of that and I did not feel hungry for about 3 days afterwards, it was difficult sleeping the first night because i was so full. Good work buddy!
That was the best chips situation for Adam I've seen for a long while.
Great job!
thanks mate :)
This is the only challenge I've seen that I think I can do. That meat looks so good!
Such a nice guy, one reason why we all want him to win!!
NO ! Nice guys finish LAST ! 😮
Thanks mate ❤

@@umaxen0048 - only in America …
I’ve watched many videos of this man and it just baffles how he’s able to put down that much into his belly without dying or ending up in the ER, just freaking amazing.
My favorite eating TH-camr of all time ❤
i am honoured :)
This is the first video I ever watched of Beard and now I'm watching it again!
I don't know why, but I'm still always surprised that he finishes these ridiculous challenges 😂
And then he eats dessert
@@Adam.Biniszewski desert always gets his own stomach i feel like.
Must need powerful stomach acid to basically start melting the meat while he eats it because physically fitting that in your stomach would be harmful.
just like im surpised to see a massive dab on your face fucking weird lol
LMFAO I TOUGHT YOU WERE A GRILLL
Hearing that stranger say No when he asked if he'd complete it. That, is a pure source of energy.
11:17 Fan: Well done.
Adam: Actually, it was medium rare.
That lady's husband isn't the only one who watches these videos every day, I do too. Although I watch them because I miss having any real contact with anyone who speaks in my own northern English accent. I've been an ex-pat Brit for far too long, I think.
Ex.pat? You mean immigrant m8
Immigrant schmmimigrant...its just a word. Not everyone who sods off to live elsewhere in the world is a bad person, but whether I choose to live in the UK or not is beside the point. @@CloudianMH
Shout out to the chef needed, cooking a slab of meat like that is a true art
I am hoping you will do the Beard-in-Japan series. There are so many food challenges in Japan. Please go for it and do us proud!
I would love to see him do the Wankosoba Challenge
Japanese people are very small, i doubt they have stuff to the scale of the UK or US although i may be wrong
Would be interesting to see him do one in Japan, I used to live in Osaka and there was a place 2kg of beef for free +£60 in 20minutes
There are many challenges to match even the west’s metrics
@@mrcaboosevg6089 what if he did multiple challenge’s in a single video, like a sped up view of him traveling and stopping and having different interactions.
Some challenges I see and (foolishly) think "maybe on a good day I might manage that...". This one I thought straight away "hell no..." 😀
aye a lot of meat over and over again can be a bit daunting..helps if it's decent though :)
Honestly compliments to the chef, it’s very difficult to cook a giant steak like that without the centre being completely raw
The look of dread on her face when you said youd risk throwing up for glory was priceless haha
hahaha
If it's a beard day, it's a good day!
@Haunted I bet you have posters of him on your walls.
@JOHN LEBZELTER don't you?
that was an incredible challenge Mr Beard! you definitely deserve that £50 quid 👏❤

This is not a challenge! It's a welcome invite! Honestly looks really lovely
Some of these food challenges I think to myself "I could definitely do that".... did not think that for a second on this one. Well done, Beard!

@@BeardmeatsfoodI'm sure randy and katina could do this. What do you think?
I would have asked them to slice it after it's cooked and sear the slices. That much pink meat makes it seem more daunting.
@@jacobthecritic8181 Together probably.
He finishes in record time while talking most of the time. Extra points for style. 👑
Seen pretty much same challenge in US at place, think it was call Big Texan. 72 oz steak, backed potato but didn’t have to eat the skin, side salad, not sure but may have had a desert. Had to eat within an hour. There was log book of people who finished it. One person did in about 10 minutes. Was traveling though Texas about 20-25 years ago. Also they had, maybe still have video someone ate multiple steaks in one sitting.
May not realize how big a piece of meat that is without seeing in person. It was huge
All 5 of our kids absolutely love watching your challenges and trying to come up with their own, the food shop doesn't last long in this house 😂
Wait till they’re all teenagers!
love to the family mate :)
Oh man, Mr. Beard coming in with the Discworld shout out! I knew I liked this guy.
Only been watching beard meats food for about a month now and stumbled across this one which is just down the road from me. Always amazed at where you manage to put the amount of food you eat away.
Came back to post again. Just to say, Beard is a hilarious respectful and humble eater! And he doesn't yell our ears off or require everyone to notice him in the restraunts making the video annoying and narcissistic. He's just a real man doing what he does so well, eat!! Class eater sir!!
Came back to post again?
You people are hilarious for TH-cam likes
@@brownfudge2653 I just had something I wanted to add about the Beard who we enjoy watching. No one that I know personally cares about likes or popularity.

My biggest concern when I first saw that steak was the incoming jaw pain and fatigue from chewing. Well done champ!
Good point. Not only will his arms get tired but as well as the jaw.
thanks mate :)
@@Beardmeatsfood Hi Adam, what's for dessert??😁
I’m just severely impressed how they cooked that entire thing evenly all throughout
Beard, beyond a doubt, creates the best content, interacts with the public so well…. I would buy him a beer and a meal, anytime.

I agree... but the meal might put a big dent in your wallet.
"I'll take 34 lobsters"

He seems like a decent guy you'd want to have a few beers with.
ah thanks mate, means a lot :)
How he managed to eat all that steak then the chips and a cheesecake for desert is unbelievable WOW
Man thank you!!!! I have been having problems with appetite recently and watching you get so into the zone with such vigor got me starving! That was awesome!
U
I watch all your videos. You rock. I don't see how you can do but you get it in. Awesome
Wow this channel just popped back up for me. Used to watch him a lot and now he's pulling so many subs and consistent 1-2mil+ views. Happy to see him doing so well
Jeez, that isn't a steak, that's a whole roast! Congrats on being the first Beard!
200 grams is an alright portion size. 72oz is over 10x that...
You know it's hard when Master Beard says he is looking forward to the chips😂
I’ve never heard someone say a well done steak would be easier to eat 😂😂
I heard him say that in another video earlier and was also surprised to hear that, you'd think medium-rare to medium would be much easier but I believe he knows better since he's likely tried every level of cooked steaks. He's an absolute BOSS, it's astounding how much food he slams down!
Because you medium rare people haven't tried it the taste is better too who likes the taste of raw meat 😂
@@Peter-i2w2e Everyone? Because it's what humans are supposed to eat in nature?

The music in the background made this my FAVORITE video, aside from the obvious completion.

This was a straight up endurance test. This was a long one, compared to normal! You rock man.
I’ve been waiting to watch this, there was a rumour that you were in the local area doing this one, glad to see you smashed it!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
i'd like to say i'll be back for the spicy wings....but i won't hahaha
Love the quick cuts, and sound effects, of you getting out of the car and into the Red Lodge❤🎉😂
Ha, ha! I LOVE this show!
It's probably easier to eat the same value of baked goods than solid MEAT!.
Whenever Adam eats anything, I compare it to what he's already eaten in previous episodes. So in the beginning, this steal looked "easy" but now I'm thinking all of the steak is just a GIANT lump in his belly! Whereas in the CAKE CHALLENGE episode, it was easier to do because the cake slices were compressing and digesting as he was eating!
Anyway GREAT SHOW!!!
Everytime I feel like I can't finish my food, I watch one of your videos to help me clean my plate. You're a legend!

I can't imagine the gaseous discharge in the following hours with all that rare meat.

shoutout to the chef! how do you cook a "steak" that big so perfectly!?
Let the beef come up to room temp, maybe about an hour or a little more for one this size. Season it your preferred way (the correct way is kosher salt and black pepper) sear *all* sides in a ripping hot skillet. Place on a wire rack in a 150-175C preheated oven (low end if planning for well done, high end for medium/rare) and cook for around an hour per kg. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer. 50ish Celsius for rare, 55ish for med rare and between 60 and 70 if you want to ruin it.
@@whatbroicanhave50character35 aight gordon chill out
@@whatbroicanhave50character35 "The correct way" 🙄. I don't know any chefs that use Kosher salt. And it's a frying pan.
@@fandangobrandango7864 kosher salt is great - but only someone that has a massive ego would state this in such a way, suggesting that they have nothing left to learn from other people and basically claiming that they are the master of the craft and most knowledgeable out there.
