This video reminded me of a sailing experience years ago. I was on a bareboat in Road Town Harbor, BVI and we decided to take the inflatable across the harbor after dark to a restaurant on the other side. Halfway across the outboard just shut down, dead in its tracks. I had no idea what was going on as no amount of starter cord pulling would get it to fire. Eventually I tilted the prop up out of the water, just out of curiosity and there wrapped around the prop was a plastic bag. Freed it up, back down into position and it fired up first shot and we were on our way again. Not knowing anything about outboards I still don’t know how that worked, but was sure relieved when it did! Same deal - easy fix! 🔧👍
Good day RW Yea blade should be good it is always hitting soft stuff LOL. The JD u have a power pack on front. I am thinking riding mower battery are expensive & don't seem to last long. Now my mower battery runs tractor but not enough to start. I am thinking of buying power pack instead of battery. Darn batteries are about $80. Thanks
Perhaps you should suggest to your customer not to cut the lawn on the same day clothes are out hanging on the line, lol. I thought brake pads needed replacement on my 'ol '99 C-man 42" last week, took all apart & somehow a 3" piece of rubber band was wrapped around brake disc & shaft it rides it, literally a spongy soft brake... darndest things get wrapped up on mowers moving parts.

I like easy fixes!
Hey, Don! So the expression when you almost lose a deck off the side of the lift is, “Hooie!”? 😂🔧👍
Pretty much every time. Lol
That was an easy fix, I have twine wrapped around mine once, nearly vibrated the mower to pieces .😊
Stuff stuck I'm there can heat up, cook seals and seize bearings. Doesn't hurt to have a look now and then. And to scrape the grass out
@randomwrenching yup I try to keep up on that especially this summer here it's always wet and heavy.
