Gundum Seed isn't the perfect anime in many ways but story-wise, music, and the drama is top tier, doesn't matter how many new Gundam animes come out. The cliff hanging ending + the ending OST gets you every time.

And that the nobles underwent training for when that day comes. Too bad the ones who replaced them in Destiny included the likes of Yuna.

Rewatching this EP, and never fail to get me, damn you (teary eyes). Uzumi sama final moment in GS. I adore Uzumi sama confident to Cagalli as the Heir of Orb. I also like seeing 2 MS interlocking their robotic fingers (pretty cool).

if morosawa actually didn't deviate from the original script and rewrote the whole series to spite Cagali and Shinn's VAs then yeah. We would've gotten that and somewhat close to the 00 series storyline. Shinn was suppose to defect to the Archangel just before he beats some sense into Kira like how he is in the games and other special media versions of Shinn.
Honestly I'm more mad about Miriallia and Dearka because with Athrun and Cagali, at least we got to somewhat see them falling out but with Miriallia and Dearka I think we got like one line from Miriallia when she talked to Athrun in that one episode and nothing else. What's the build up in Seed fore if you're gonna throw it away!!!
I am just glad Lacus and Kira survived.. so far. Destiny as a whole was rather disappointing, it didn't need new characters. In my head these 2 patch things up. It's another reason why I'd wish for a reboot not just bc the first 20 eps were kinda 'meh' or for modern animation, to fill in the plotholes (not everyone has read the novel) and progress the characters better but possible changes + fixes.

Other Gundam animes just don't hit as hard as SEED. The characters, the storyline, the drama and relationships just felt more humane, emotional, flawed and realistic. The music was perfect, especially love the intamacy Kira and Lacus display in the openings/endings. It's not perfect by any means and part of me things it should have a reboot but overall it's my fave.
Man, this episode is just filled to the brim with action and feelings.. I love it. 7:30 who knew Athrun could say such a badass line..? And the REVEAL!! Oh my gosh..
20:37 if you need a proof on how incredibly fast the Justice and Freedom is, remember that they are able to catch on a speeding mass-driver accelerated Kusanagi, those giant thruster backpacks are there for a reason.
I find it funny how the Freedom is actually slightly faster than the Justice, even though it can hail mary from as far away as it wants while the Justice is the suit that needs to get up close and personal.
Damn. My tears all these years remain uncontrollable to this episode. The lion of Orb, Uzumi, may the prayers of Haumea be with you. One of the finest OSTs in the entire franchise.

Has anyone noticed that the ending has been changed. Akatsuki no Kuruma had ended after The Kusanagi launched and the song "Find The Way" was the outro song during a beautiful end sequence. There was no need for the Remastered version to change all of that.

Gundam Wing was my first Gundam anime, but Seed and Seed Destiny still the best, and now after Seed Freedom was released, I was certain Seed series indeed the best xD
The Freedom is indeed meant for Kira, as Kira is a long range fighter with short bouts of very quick CQC combat. So is the Justice for Athrun, who is a beast in CQC and prefers up close and personal combat. Incidentally this also applies later to Rau le Creuset and the Providence, as the Dragoon system showcases the intricate webs he can build and his inhuman resilience.
I was surprised when i first watched this that Cagalli and Kira are siblings but this was also the saddest scene that Cagalli witness that her Father scarified himself and his staff to send them up to space for the final battle.

I wish the writers from Witch from Mercury could learn from SEED. Writings and ending for each episode makes you want immediately watch the next episode. WfM lacks the excitement to watch the succeeding episodes-that happened on most of the episodes since season 1 and season 2 but not all episodes of WfM.

The Alliance won the Battle but got nothing but rubble, ruins and a scared populous for it all. No Morgenrote and no Mass Driver, they fought an entire battle against a Neutral nation and got nothing out of it. They didn't even shoot down the Archangel or the Kusanagi.

우주세기도 좋고 80년대 건담 작화도 엄청 나서 건담 팬이지만 비우주세기인 시드는 증말 ㅎㅎ 최애다. 몇번을 봐도 재밌고 ost도 훌륭합니다.
