This sweater is so cute!! Because I knit and crochet, I may try to make this sweater but with a knit body! I’m so excited for you to learn to knit! It is amazing how much less yarn knitting uses and stockinette stitch will definitely fly by timewise compared to crochet stitches that replicate knit (:
I have a similar yarn and will definitely try this, ill report back in a few days. Update: front panel done. Mourning my wrist as I start the second😭 Update 2: YALL ive finished the body panels, i will finish sewing it today and hopefully start the sleeves. (9.10.24)
hi love!! i would just measure as i go based on your body, or the person you’re making it for :) just crochet the shoulder panels until you reach the width that you need to fit well on one side/shoulder, then switch to the middle portion and keep crocheting rows until it fits well, then continue on doing the second shoulder, making sure to match the amount of rows from the first shoulder! it’s also a nice and stretchy stitch which i love ☺️ but it’s easily customizable to any size!! 💕💕
