I wanted to make my own, and was feeling overwhelmed on how to get the waves right.. This helped me so much.. I made mine in Navy blue and lavender. What a funny coincidence! I just started making swatches for my own ripple stitch sweater. I'll be doing it a little differently than you did in this tutorial, but we've both got the same wave spirit.
I literally searched for a tutorial like this about 5 weeks ago. Now i ended up with 2 panels stitched together from wrong sides so that the waves don't match 🥲 will unravel it again and work with your tutorial haha so thanks for it!! 🫶
I'm making mine in red, white and green to wear for the Christmas program at my church, this year. I usually play the ukulele and sing when I perform. I may do either a baritone ukulele or a guitar this year. I haven't decided yet.

I was gifted some beautiful yarn for my bday - 5 different soft icecreamy kinda colours, perfect for this pattern, and perfect for a December project whilst visiting my children. I don't like high necklines, can't bear anything touching my throat🥴 so I need to figure out how to make a bit of a scoop in the front. Any tips?? @@alemiranda2957 i don’t have a precise accurate amount since i didn’t use the exact entire skein of the six colors i used, but id say i used a little over half of each and they’re 328 yards a piece :)
Sorry if I missed it, but is this just a sample piece you're showing, I know this style shortens the stitches. How do I judge the width? I'm new to making clothing, so I'm not very familiar with it all. 😊
