My God for years God had opened up this truth to me and just trying to explain to others that the physical Israel was just a shadow of the new Israel was foreign to teachers and pastors. It a simple truth that goes so deep people still can't see it. The Chirch is the true Jew in Jesus Christ. Thank you for the amazing teaching
You have obviously spent much time in the Word. I enjoyed listening, but I have one question. Are you preaching "replacement theology?" That is has the church replaced Israel completely? Is there a role for ethnic Israel to play in the last days? I am not saying anything, I am just asking questions!
I agree with everything except the land promise. Joshua chapter 21 is clear that God fulfilled ALL of the land promises already. Chapters 23 and 24 point to what will happen to fleshly Israel if and when they break it, which they had, and we still see today.
The Jews founded their belief that they were still God's people on three things; 1. They had Abraham as their Father. 2. They had the Law that had only been given to Israel (Psalm 147:19-20) 3. They had the covenant of circumcision. Paul demolished all three foundations. 1. Jesus said God could raise up children for Abraham from the stones (Matthew 3:9) Which He DID, figuratively (1 Peter 2:4-6) The same "stones" being built into God's ONE and ONLY "Household" (1 Timothy 3:15) 2. Righteousness is by faith, not law (Galatians 3) And ALL who are of the faith of Abraham ARE His children (3:29) 3. Physical circumcision means nothing (Galatians 5:6) I have understood for many years that Jesus IS the true Israel. Isaiah 49 makes this abundantly clear. I did not however see the parallels between the earthly Israel and the Spiritual Israel (Jesus). Thanks for that!
That's the right question to ask! Another question to be asked is how come in calling Israel "My people " in Ezekiel ch 36 , God said , "I will put my Spirit in MY PEOPLE and they will all know Me. And I will write my commandments on their heart". When a person becomes a Christian they immediately receive the Holy Spirit...so who are these people whom God calls "My people" who as of yet do not have the Holy Spirit? It can only be the physical nation of Israel...and something God will do in the future.
Romans chapter 9, 10, and 11, explains we have been grafted in, meaning everything that was promised to the Jews (in Christ new testament). Is also promised to ALL who are in Christ.

I like your emphasis on scripture and your willingness to think hard about the consistency of your faith. I think, however, that your understanding of Galatians puts it at odds with the plain understanding of Romans. Circumcision cannot have no advantage and "much" advantage "in every way" (Rom. 3:1-2).
My thought is that the advantage of Israel can fit into what he is saying (progressive covenentalism-one people of God) better than the other way around. True Israel was always the remnant of national Israel. This remnant was called out of national Israel and became the Israel of God in Christ through the Apostles. Gentiles in Christ are added to this same body. The blessing of being a Jew is having the promise in Isaiah 66:20 and Romans 11:12 that Israel of the flesh is promised a revival in Christ in the messianic era. The advantage for unbelieving Israel is they still have the witness of the scriptures, but what they are called to is no different than a Gentile believer in Jesus. Both join one body through faith. If national Israel keeps certain cultural traditions that make them Jewish culturally that is no different then an American Christian having certain cultural traditions which highlight our history. It is the case however, that widespread revival in Israel to Jesus would radically change the identity location of the Jewish people. It would introduce a stronger distinction between the nation and the church. Such is the necessary result of the new covenant understanding of the people of God. Not sure if that helps. As you say, putting those elements together is the right place to be looking.
@jrhemmerich "True Israel was always the remnant of National Israel." Amen, 100%. "Gentiles in Christ are added to this same body." Yes, but what is the result of this addition? Biblically, the result is not a homogeneous group from which Jew and Gentile can no longer be discerned.
@@ArchDLuxe, what sort of markers do you have in mind? Would these be required for Christian Israelites or optional? (I have Romans 14 in mind, about sixth day sabbath keeping and the festivals, one can probably throw in circumcision). I would say these are no longer required of the Jewish people, but neither are they required to be given up when they come to Christ.
@jrhemmerich no disrespect intended, but does it matter what you say? Who are you to overturn the commands of The Most High? I'm glad the Jews have your permission to keep obeying YHWH, but I doubt they were holding their breath waiting for your "OK." Skip back about 3 chapters is Romans, and you'll find Paul addressing this kind of arrogance; thinking that the natural branches need the wild branches' permission to obey God.
@@ArchDLuxe, interesting, you took that personal real fast. I’m not setting myself up as anybody’s authority. I just offered my interpretation of what I think Paul was saying in Rom 14 (the authority) and asked for your insight. The arrogance in 11 was thinking that the fallen branches could not or would not be restored in the future. I fully embrace that truth. So, I’m not sure what arrogance you reference. Other than being reprimanded for the arrogance of having an opinion, I’m not sure what it is that I need to change to satisfy your opinion. You might be right, but you haven’t helped me me see why, or what you even mean by your correction.
No my literal hermeneutic is just fine thank you sir. Your refusing to adopt a dispensational hermeneutic is the problem. Be blessed brother; see you in glory after the Rapture!
Dispensationalism was invented in the 1800's by one man's own interpretation and unknown and not taught by the established church for nearly two thousand years previously, so probably a good idea not everyone takes it seriously. The rapture is the second coming so just get ready to go through some hard times my friend.

So they went out into the hedges, and highways and bid all to come to the wedding, and scripture says the wedding was filled with GUESTS. If your the GUEST at a wedding your NOT the BRIDE. Revelation 21:9-11 the bride is the Holy City New Jerusalem, not the body of Christ.
You really have no idea what you're talking about, and you have a bad interpretation of Revelation. Hope you come to Truth. You are a city set on a hill...i will make you pillars in the temple of my God... Dig deeper bruh.
are you sure? 2Co 11:2 I feel a divine jealousy for you, for I promised you in marriage to one husband, to present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. Rev 21:10 And in the spirit he carried me away to a great, high mountain and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.
We did replace Israel in the great commission, but they will get it back with the 144,000 when they are here preaching the gospel to those who will go thru the wrath of the Lamb, and the wrath of God. Who didn't worship the beast, or his image, or receive his mark. Neither did they give their lives to Jesus. Some of these people will be saved right at the end of the wrath of God, and the Lamb, by the 144,000 who took back the great commission from the Gentiles.
No! Absolutely 💯 not! Those are Jewish promises to Isreal to be completely fulfilled by Jesus Christ at His Second Coming.
