this episode makes me SO MAD the fact that twilight had to apologize to the annoying fanpony who was in her space constantly being an annoying simp, and no one apologized to her for not coming to tell her they were watching the stars, just makes me so angry for her. i see so much of myself in twilight in this episode T^T
Twi's genuine crying over missing out on something she was really looking forward to crushes my heart, and reminds me of all the times it happened to me. I feel like Spike had to be left behind in this episode or he would have for sure made sure Twilight got to see her star show, best spike would have her back

Can we all agree that Twilights family were downright awful in this episode? The rest of the family, except for Flurry Heart, should have apologized. It's crazy how they rather comforted the pony that had been on Twilight's butt the whole day, and got his hoof hurt, because he never heard of personal space, instead of her!) It felt so good when she unleashed on them, because all of them had their heads in their butts.
Yeah it's bad that Twilight's family were having fun without her especially Princess_Cadence who didn't go through what Twilight was doing despite being an Alicorn princess herself One of the worst things about this episode is how the writers didn't let Spike go on that trip since he's part of Twilight's family
Uh-oh. I spot a Cinemare Sins sin 1:47 Twilight's schedule obviously would start before the cruise. The first thing in the schedule would be time needed to work out the schedule, all the way up until they got on the cruise. Makes total sense she'd look at the middle.
I highly appreciate the Cadence calling out. She really brought this episode down. How hard would it have been to rotate a few tasks. I'm sure Flurry would be just fine with her dad and aunt watching her for an hour or two, not to mention her grandparents! Cadence is usually so conciderate too, but she was selfish and insentivise here. Are we sure this wasn't Queen Chrysalis?
This is one of my favorite episodes. Being a people-pleaser is so hard to overcome. Sometimes, we need to hear we are not bad people for putting ourselves first.
What about Cadance being an absolute prude for the entire episode and neglecting just about everything? Or the fact that Twilight’s potential number one fan/simp was mooning all over her throughout the episode? Or how she missed the biggest event she was looking forward to the entire cruise because no one event shouted it out or even told her? This episode doesn’t do a great job and just bullies Twilight till she’s broken. If she wanted a vacation, it’s better to do a friendship problem than to do a “put more pressure on main protagonist” just for the excuse of it. It can work better but not in the way this episode had shown.
"Once Upon a Zeppelin" is honestly one of the few season 7 episodes that I dislike, I mean it was nice to see Twilight and family spending time together as well as it was good to see Iron Will again considering that this is the first appearance he's made since his debut all the way back in season 2. But the biggest thing I didn't like was that Iron Will apparently turned con-artist, and used Twilight's princess status in order to gain popularity for his zeppelin, and i can still remember a lot of the Brony Analysts saying that part of plot would've made way more sense if it were Flim and Flam hosting the cruise. And it really would've made more sense, Because Flim and Flam are the con-artists of the FIM series, But did they go that route no they just had to bring back a one-off character and make him something that doesn't really fit his character.
I think it fits him well enough. Iron Will is an opportunist, and while not a con artist per se, definitely knows how to take advantage of a situation to get a favorable outcome. Remember, he picked Fluttershy specifically because of how timid she was to oversell his Assertiveness Lessons. If it was Flim and Flam, there would have been resistance and tension from the get-go. Their reputation would have worked against them as Twilight at least would be looking for the rat in the situation. By having Iron Will be the one in charge it set the stage for him to take advantage of Twilight's parents without an immediate showing of ulterior motives.
My big gripe is, why do we need to have a con artist ? Why can't this be an honest misunderstanding? It would give Twilight's actions more weight, whereas with a con artist we have to wonder why she doesn't just blow the whistle on something that was done without consulting her?

“No refuuuuuuuuWAITIFORGOTMYPARACHUTE- (explodes upon impact with the ground)”
-Iron Will, 1 October 2024 Edit
Meanwhile in our universe, Ironcord snaps his parachute into existence.
I have been waiting fir so long for you to do this episode!
The airship-teleportation was so obvious upon recent rewatch that I was like 100% sure it would be mentioned here
Skip this episode on rewatch solely because seeing Twilight crying over missing her event and *the princess of freakin love* taunting her over missing it is beyond BRUTAL.
You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to cover this episode ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
These never fail to make me laugh
What's that? Next season, she nearly gets blackmailed with a measly photo she could've blasted or teleported and she also makes the dumb mistake of entering a magic prison complex that can only open with magic while magic is being drained? Now I get why her element isn't wisdom.
i had a dream last night that you uploaded a new cinemare sins video. thank you
The baby carriage is only held by the handle instead of from all sides which will make the part Flurryheart fall.
so the lesson I'm getting from this video is, Cadance is secretly the Princess of Brutality.
5:01 Well Discord is flying the ship. Also that explains how this ship teleports.
I do appreciate the message this episode has, i did enjoy that 'assertive' reference XD
You have no idea how happy I am that this video doesn’t have the annoying ring bell sound effect that every video like these have
I've been using a new ding sound of my own creation for years. Glad you like!
@@LittleshyFiM it’s very enjoyable. I had to stop watching videos of this type by other creators because of that sound ^^
If you're watching this on October 31, Happy Halloween.
why would we do that
I am now going to come back and watch this again on October 31st
I liked seeing Iron Will again, but I wish he was in character. Sure, his personality and charm was there, but this isn’t his usual MO. This is Flim and Flam kinda stuff
Idk, I think Iron Will put on a good cruise for everyone except the royal family. He manipulated Twilight, but the cruise was not in fact one big scam like Flim and Flam would do.
@@LittleshyFiM Fair enough.
when i tell you that i waited for this episode😭
You never fail to make me roll on the floor dying! Keep it up! 😂😃
One of my favorite episodes. Thanks.
5:10 Ah yes a return of the "you're not allowed to be sad if ponies are starving in Saddle Ariabia" logic.
Omg YESSSSSS! Light this episode up!!! Tear it a new one!!! I get so absurdly mad every time I think about this episode and the collective loss of brain cells of every character in this episode, not to mention how unfair the whole thing was to Twilight.
this episode was pretty fun to rewatch
Oh come on no sin for flurry heart messing with the children and everypony being ok with it? Those simps for pink princess need to be called out
Flurry stacking the other foals like blocks. all shall bow befor her
Babe wake up new cinemare sins dropped
I love these so bad 😭 dreading when you run out of episodes to cover
I missed you man
also I pose we make a petition to officially dub Cadance the "Princess of Brutality"
Yes, Spike in spike at your service is a doppelganger.
I’ve been waiting for this one…
Star tracker reminds me of that one dude from class of 09': flip side.
It's finally happening. LittleShy has gotten to the mlp episodes I haven't seen after I lost interest in the later seasons of the show :')
I completely forgot this episode existed until now
Cadance should be on Mortal Kombat with all these BRUTALITIES!
Im suprised you didnt mentioned how Star Tracker was acting in this episode. This pony was so uncomfortable like he didnt seemed to understand that there is a thing callled "personal space" and felt like a stalker fan for me (also the fact that it seems that some people ship him with Twilight is...just yikes)
ah ... we've finally arrived to this episode..
been waiting for this episode to be covered, it made me feel so bad for twilight 😭
Can’t Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake ✨🎶
after so many years he still posts episodes about sins
Star Tracker's so adorable! Shame Spike wasn't around to see how honourary little brother would get along with adopted little brother.
One of the worst things about this episode is how the writers didn't let Spike go on that trip since he's part of Twilight's family
I like how they add sins to the counter even when there is nothing wrong, very accurate to real CinemaSins
damn youre still making these
2:36 everyone is dead
