It's so crazy to think that the fandom really had this much of an impact on the show. I mean, it's obvious that the show has gotten as far as it has thanks to the overwhelming support by fans, but the fact that the appreciation actually made it's way into the show itself still blows my mind.
And it's a show aimed towards kids. And that really is saying something.

@@WeenDiggins Well, MLP was made by someone who knew what she was doing and didn't completely dumb it down for just kids. Lauren actually did a great job at making it actually relatable for older fans.
Even though both MLP and Pokémon are glorified commercials, MLP does a better job. And this show in particular will come to an ending unlike the Pokémon anime which will carry on forever.

Given what else is referenced, _Llamas With Hats_ could be considered small potatoes. But I do enjoy how the staff has been able to use the show to talk with the fandom. Not many manage to pull that off and not turn it into complete pandering. And as this episode proves, when Show decides to pander, it panders well. Well enough to include pandas.

I was enjoying as I normally do, but mid-way through the removing of sins, I started tearing up cos I was reminded of how special and perfectly not-perfect the fandom is. It'll never be as great as it once was, but I count myself lucky to have been there to experience the final golden year of fan support. MLP has so many flaws, but I'm still just as in-love with it and my fellow bronies as I was when I first found it in the summer of 2015.

This is one of the best one's you've ever done. :) Usually I laugh or go, ooh, interesting. This time... I was just smiling and happy and it made me feel good inside. This was just a treat and a true reminder of all the things i love about the episode and the fandom in general :)
Fun Facts about the episode:
David Tennant was considered to voice Doctor Whooves, but was unable to. His voice actor for the episode based the voice on him.
Flash Sentry(the pony one) was going to appear and ask Cranky why no one likes him even though he did nothing wrong. This was more of the writers taking a jab at the fandom which was why it was cut
This was probably one of the most fun episodes in the show. :D

I really liked this idea for a sins video! I honestly didn't know many of the histories behind these fan-influenced characters, learning about them just makes the episode even better! I can only imagine being a part of the fandom at the time.

In my case since I didn’t watch MLP FiM during it’s airing period (I just watched all G4 and it’s spin-off cause I love the G5 movie and was like I should watch the G4 stuff to understand more) I wasn’t aware this episode was done in appreciation of the fandom I knew it was big but to that point to show it’s appreciation in a episode is amazing and I wouldn’t have known without this cinemare sin video. Also the fan made stuff I watched when I learn from sabersparks interview with bronies we’re awesome but I’m sad that a fan creation was struck down because of Hasbro back then. Sometime corporate bs can ruin creativity. They should learn from George Lucas with Star Wars fan content, at first he wanted to strike all them down but when he realized that he was making much more money because of those fan made he was like embrace it instead of suing people.
But anyway I’m glad I finally took the time to watch this series and found this channel thanks to the recommendation videos since I was watching a lot of MLP recently xD
