That's one of the big benefits of a BMW based platform already a lot of aftermarket parts and knowledge available.

What does the flash change? Turbo boost? Give us some technical information. Also do a before and after dyno run.

I ran the bootmod3 tune in my N55 for 20,000 miles and FBOs with zero issues. I now have the A90 Supra and fully intend to use bootmod3 again for it.
will there be bm3 for b48 4cyl supra? does this hurt the long term reliability at all? Thx!

Hey Brian, thanks for the awesome video. Quick question, how bootmode will affect the warranty? Since Im leasing my g20 but want to get some more juice out of it and its super easy to do. Thnx in advance
not 100% sure but if there is a problem with the car due to the flash from boot mode, that would void the warranty. again, not 100% sure.

@@PegahSye Not everywhere....I'm on the west coast, and a lot of dealerships are still being greedy on the price. I got mine under MSRP, however that was during a flash sale. I know in Vegas they are still charging at least $5K over MSRP.

I own a Toyota Supra it’s nothing like one TO ME it more a BMW or 86 wish they went the concept F1 way but it doesn’t change that fact that it’s engineer very well
Would be more expensive if they did. That was the original plan
Would be lexus heavy and untunable if they went the cheaper way than going BMW .

You would just flash back to stock tune and lock the DME before bringing back to dealer (very easy). Then reflash your tune when you get it back!
No they wont see the change bc its just flashing it, no over writing it. But if you feel unsafe just change it back every time you decide to service your vehicle.
The Supra communicates with BMW in real time unless you disable the link. Perhaps, some investigation if you want to have a warranty. If a warranty is important for you the 2021 gets a big bump in power.

I know the Z4 and Supra handle differently and blah blah blah…but it’s still a modified Z4. I’d rather have the BMW.

@@carsonnak4842 it's not hard to know considering the ecu has a flash counter on it. You can tell it's been tuned even if its changed back before you take it in.

The Launch, 3.0 Premium, and the Base all have the EXACT SAME engine. The only difference in the three models are a few aesthetics from the Premium to the Launch (# of 1500, colored side view mirror skirts), and some comfort options difference between the base and the Premium. The base only has a 5" touch screen. The base also does not come with JBL premium speakers and also without some of the drivers assistant packages. The differences in the 3 versions is minimal at best.
2020 Zupra fan boys: The vents are functional.
Reality: the vents are fake.
2020 Zupra fan boys: The car is tuned by Toyota.
Reality: totally built by and tuned by BMW.
AND FINALLY
2020 Zupra fan boys: The car is built by a third party manufacturer.

The vents are functional. You should do your research. There's a video with the Chief Engineer of the new Supra wherein he spefically says the vents are capable of being removed. The purpose being to provide more cooling when you mod the Supra because the MK IV tuners initially had problems with blowing engines because they couldn't keep it cooled. This was talked about over 5 months ago. This has already been discussed. Watch these videos:
