That’s the thing about metal. A lot of people are scared away by the aggressiveness. They think it’s evil but most metal music have very deep and beautiful messages. Jinjer is definitely one of my favorites for music and lyrics.
Nobody expects that. LOL Her name is Tatiana, and yes, that is all her and she is mostly self taught. This live session was done to showcase thier new (at the time ) drummer , Vlad. He , Roman (guitar, and Eugene( bass) are all outstanding musicians. Vlad is classically trained on piano. They are from Donetsk in eastern Ukraine and are now back on tour after the guys were recently allowed to leave Kiev. Tati does it just as well live. Try Perennial live from Wacken 2019 or anything from Hellfest 2022 to see that. Other songs to check out, Teacher Teacher, I Speak Astronomy, Vortex, Home Back, Judgement and Punishment, and Disclosure.

The way the 4 of them mesh and make beautiful arrangements and musicality is rare, they really meld into one cohesive sound. 3. Your reaction is absolutely genuine. Tatiana Shmayluk from Jinjer is the REAL DEAL. She actually taught herself this incredible technique and presents it in an amazing way! The 3 musicians in this band (Roman, Eugene, and Vladislov) are all classically trained, it gives them an edge over a lot of other bands.
So you want to see live Jinjer perennial live wacken pronounced vaken it's a German pronunciation one of the best live performance of that song there is a hellfest version that just came out a few weeks ago both are good quality sound . Tatiana gets the best first-time reactions with this song! Feel free to google her stuff, she does lots of demos and interviews of her style (and this is probably the most "beautiful" of the band's songs, most are more full-on metal end-to-end, but still with voice switching, often line to line like a call/response lyric, amazing how she switches. It can be taught, but there is a right, and wrong way, she's not the only lady doing this in metal, but is the best in my opinion (clearest and sharpest in transitions).
More people should react to this song and just somehow magically all randmonly choose this as their first 'Jinjer' song and have 'shocked' thumbnails. It could become like a 'thing'.

I feel like, at this point, reactors would have seen other reactions to Jinjer and therefore the reactions can't be legitimate first reactions. It's either that or I have watched so many that these I have become numb to them. Jinjer is such a talented group of people that, in my opinion, is the best thing going right now. I wouldn't have found them were it not for the original reactions. Never been a fan of extreme vocals until I found Jinjer and don't really care for others. Jinjers music is intricate, well composed and lyrical poetry.
Tatiana is great but the rest of the band are so good, The bass groovy, the guitar picking and the drums so jazz inspired. One of the best tunes ever written
Happened to stumble upon your reaction…great job!!! Something worth noting: Jinjer managed to raise $140K in about 4 days to help Ukrainians and Ukrainian charities providing for displaced families caused by the Russian invasion.

Tatiana has an great voice! But If You want more metal with an female growler/singer i suggest you reacts to Arch Enemy from Sweden. They are big Melodic Death metal band and they have been around forever Songs like Nemesis, The Eagle Flies Alone and The World is are some good ones to start with 🙂
