Not everything is pop and these shows need to recognize that metal and rock is music too and there are A LOT of us metal fans out here. Give the genre the recognition it deserves and stop portraying it as evil and "devil worshipping" music. We have a voice too!

Disagreement here. I listen to metal when I’m happy, it gives me much joy. Metal is about a happy childhood playing outside in summertime while the music is out loud. It has never been about anger or frustration.
You be surprise... Not all of us are happy people... The ones performing in the media don't want to ever look like losers by getting labeled a bitter person, so they appear jolly. I say this because of the type of lyrics some bands had that were actually some of the most depressing things ever written (e.g. suicide, mass murder, being black pilled, hating life, etc.). Many Metalheads find extreme closure within the music to cope with life which is why the attitude isn't like a thug's that is into rap.

I know that Randy's voice is hard top Redo , but it's too bad that she used the inhaled guttural chord, but her clean voice is great, Stabwound cover is great, the Spit it out attempt is cool, and it's so cool to have someone comin' do some Slam Death on this kind of show 👍👍

I love how everyone is talking about the first girl when she was honestly and truly doing the worst sounding inhales. Second guy I got respect for because he threw down some necrophagist and was actually doing proper false chord vocals. Third guy did probably one of the hardest slipknot songs to do vocally. Fourth guy started out started out with an awful attempt at a pig squeal and had pretty weak highs but his gutturals were pretty good. And the last guy seems like a seasoned vocalist and whitechapel is a killer band

I recognised the first couple meme auditions (still though, respect for at least putting Necrophagist on people's radar) from having seen them in other videos and skipped through because I didn't feel like cringing but that last dude has some serious pipes on him and is obviously well trained/experienced. Each act just gets heavier in this compilation and I love it. 1-2 years ago I was just the average person scared to death over these vocals just like everyone else is - these days I honestly think it is fantastic and have such mad respect for the people who can do it so well.

Each act just gets heavier in this compilation and I love it. 1-2 years ago I was just the average person scared to death over these vocals just like everyone else is - these days I honestly think it is fantastic and have such mad respect for the people who can do it so well.

Борислав - лучший. На самом деле, не понятно, почему на шоу так мало техничного экстремального вокала.
Метал и его тяжёлые поджанры - всё-таки довольно нишевая вещь (хоть фанатов у неё очень много). И всё-таки это в первую очередь ТВ-шоу, где будет востребована и ожидаема более, скажем, распространённая музыка, то есть, грубо говоря, "не метал". Много ли людей, которых вы опросите на улице, будут слушать такую музыку?..
И вдогонку к моему предыдущему комменту - много ли среди жюри этого конкурса в разных странах людей, которые способны взять вокалиста такого жанра? К примеру, у нас: у нас великолепные наставники, но я правда, не знаю, кто может взять к себе таких исполнителей.
