    I don't think John Williams realizes how much of a gift and a blessing he is to the world rather he's scoring a film or any of his concert music! Thanks for this!

    I loved hearing him say "there's a spirit there"

      Spirit is a word used for all kinds of places. Let me guess. You like it because you're brain washed to think mormons are the real spirit?

    A great combination of one of the best movie composers of all time with (as President Reagan called it) America’s Choir

      Well, sorry, but Reagan is/was wrong, lol! Shaw/ASO Chorus, Hillis/CSO Chorus & Flummerfelt/NYCA & Westminster Symphonic Choir are better just for starters (& that’s not even including choirs from Nashville, Texas &/or Florida

      If it wasn’t the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square (or as it was once known as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir) would you have commented the way you have? Have you personally been in the building to hear them sing? I have and it’s amazing. You may not like the Church doesn’t mean the Choir isn’t as good as people say.

    As Latter-day Disciples of our Lord, Jesus Christ, we believe the words He said that _"the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads."_ (Doctrine and Covenants 25: 12)
    Even if there are those who don't sing well, if they sing with faith and having a belief in God, God will love and accept it.

      Thank you for your last comment. I am definitely unable to carry a tune in a bucket, bathtub, or even swimming pool. But I wish so much I could! I sing from my heart and I hope it reaches Heaven’s ears with the love in my heart.

    What is the context for this video? Did John Williams use the Tabernacle Choir to record the new Olympic them song?

    • @Thrillmaster100
      @Thrillmaster100  13 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      @@byucatch22 yes. He released an album called American journey and he recorded the tabernacle choir singing it. And as part of the Olympics, the choir had a cultural olympiad concert where John was invited to conduct them in it. Which is what this particular video is about. The video John conducting the choir is linked in the description
