This 1940's Milk Truck is back on the streets with a new look, and a few borrowed parts from some other rusty gold. From the Wrenchfest Show in St. Louis.
You forgot to mention his first place win at WrenchFest! I know, there's always one that has to criticize. Not a criticism. Just a big fan of the truck.
I would like to see something like this but in a flat black paint with hand done pinstripes and a totally opposite interior, plush painted polished interior.
I hope that milk truck was too far gone to be restored correctly. Other wise that would be really sad since one does not see them out there anymore hardly.
@Vinyl Junkie well I guess you didn't click on his profile.. I'm not saying it's his ride but at least he's got a vehicle with paint on it. 😂 if he's the kind of guy that puts hard work into restoring a vehicle then I would assume that rat rods are not his thing.
@@Invoilabilis actually, I am blessed with being somewhat handy. I've helped my father restore a 1949 Ford business coupe, a 1966 Lincoln and a 1962 Olds Starfire convertible. I myself have built and owned a 1940 Plymouth biz coupe (with a 327 ci and a cross-ram dual 4bbl manifold, black cherry metallic with a light grey interior and a 1937 Plymouth 4 dr sedan with a 4 in chop, a 383 stroker motor with a 6-pack setup done in wise potato chip blue. ...but the reason I said what I did was because I look at rat-rods as a quick, short-cut to having a street rod. Why not put all the little details and cool stuff, but FINISH it with body, paint and interior? It doesn't do the car OR the builder real justice - because you COULD do the same vehicle FINISHED. And believe me, I am NOT a big $ guy with a huge garage and every tool you can imagine. I depended a lot on the help of friends and did (and learned to do) much of my cars myself over many years! ...and the word of G-d even tells me: "Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 So I try to do everything - including when I work on my cars - to the glory of Him.
That's so cool, looking at a milk truck from the past, its stretched out too. Thanks for posting this and showing us. Have a good night.

Yo first to comment
taste - you should look up the definition of the word, because that "car" has NONE (rat rods are just another example of modern American laziness)
Robin Heilimann that comes across to you as lazy?
You aren’t very handy are you?
