There's an error regarding the Troll leather set, the set bonus doesn't add sneak attack damage. It only improves your ability to sneak and reduces the stamina drain from sneaking. The sneak attack damage of a weapon is listed in its info as "backstab damage" and cannot be altered. The sneak attack bonus of most weapons is 3x, with some being lower like Stagbreaker at 2x, and daggers being higher, at 6x.
Thanks for calling this out. You're absolutely right. It improves your ability to sneak not the damage associated with your attacks while sneaking.
I will pin this comment to the top so other players aren't mislead.
Thank you for this 🙏
Great stuff, only thing I'd add is to utilize blunt damage weapons more. Blunt will become your friend, all the way up to the Mists, where hopefully you'll have the Porcupine, which mixes blunt and pierce. Also, build a home portal that has NO name. Then, when you're carrying an exploring portal, and you run into a bad situation, or just a dungeon you'd like to explore, you can just drop your exploring portal and it will auto-connect to your unnamed portal at base. This can come in handy if you're in a sticky situation and need to escape, or if you need to empty your bags and get a rested buff before entering a new dungeon.
That's a really great tip about the nameless portal. I actually don't know if I realized that nameless portals connected. Do you know what happens when you have more than two nameless portals?
@@SpazzyjonesGaming they’ll connect to each other, but only the last two if an odd number. Even numbers will connect in pairs.
Ah I gotcha Thanks for this!@@timndel
Hey everyone! Welcome back for another weekly video!
This is a continuation of the biome guide series I am working through. I plan to release a biome guide video biweekly (with videos on other topics in the opposite weeks) until I've completed all of the biomes.
That said, keep your eyes peeled for My Swamp, Mountains, and Mistlands guides still to come in the coming weeks!
Love the videos bro, keep it up, we got ashlands coming soon!!
Comments like this will keep my coming back with more and more videos! Thanks so much!
I am beyond excited for the Ashlands!
1:35 i'd argue that trolls are NOT slow and lumbering lol. They can catch up to a running viking surprisingly easy when going uphill. The barehanded ones are not too threatening at least, but the ones using a big wooden log as a weapon are substantially more dangerous, dont underestimate the armed ones!
lolol fair enough. Good point on the difference between the barehanded and ones with wooden logs. I should have highlighted how much more threatening the log holding ones were!
And here I thought charcoal came from cooking...
It does. Not nearly efficiently though hahah. The kiln is the way!
@@SpazzyjonesGaming You haven't seen me cook in Valhiem...
hahah@@anonymouse2675
Nice video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
you forgot the mound burial chamber
Ah shoot, you're right!
