Another nice video showing the complexity’s of diagnosing a simple pressure sensor ie referring to Atmos pressure and pull up or pull down circuits anyone can fit a sensor but it takes a true technician to know the how and why well done
Amazing video, I've just got into the same problem and the G31 (displayed by VCDS) it's lack of information on Google so with your video I was able to make sure that sensor it's really the issue :D You've got a new subscriber sir, greetings from Romania.
bastogne funny you said that just had the same conversation with a mate on last week the 2010 2020 there not much different in the body shape its hard to tell. nice one peter grand and handy job for you the hardest part was testing driving to make sure that light stayed off 😬
You come across the recent renault engines having the MAP sensor off-off a bit of pipe that goes into the manifold, Peter? The bit of pipe blocks, so the sensor no longer reads..removing the bit of pipe in order to unblock it causes the pipe-union to shear off... which then involves having to dismantle half the car in order to remove the busted-off bit of pipe... MAP sensor fun for all... :-)
Peter what would cause a really heavy clutch. Ive had my Mazda 3 for 10 years now and the clutch has always been really heavy and my left knee isn't getting any younger😄.
I have found over the years that clutches in vehicle’s get so much lighter once the clutch kit is replaced. Simply due to this I would suggest it is the pressure plate that stiffens up 🤔🤔

Hello mate, your unplug it test and the plug it back in proved your whole circuit using its bias on the signal wire, great video cheers,
Very true, pull down circuitry design can be handy that way. Thanks dude 🙏🙏👍
This helped a bunch! Currently in the middle of diagnostics and this gives me a lead into the right direction 👏🏽

A nice handy fix, well done mate 👏👏
Hi, its a great video, is this also called the MAP Sensor of this car?
Yes, the Manifold Absolute Pressure or Boost pressure sensor 😉👍👍👍
09 onward A6s look great. Hardly tell the difference between an 09 and a 15. Funny how the shape doesn't change much anymore in some marques.
They are a great looking car & they make big money because of it. But a very nice car 🚗 👍👍

Hi Sam, I’m not familiar with that engine type and layout so couldn’t advise on it without seeing it. Are you based in Ireland???
