Hi Gary you may not be a sailor but your observations are spot on, my heading would in fact of been a westerly one. Give yourself a pat on the back and I will consider myself told. Kind regards mike
Hi Richard some scary rocks there in bad weather they even look positively aggressive, you probably made the correct call. Not a place to be in poor weather. You’ll get there soon I’m sure mike
Hi Bob, we departed quite early around 07:00 or a little later. If my memory serves me right we arrived early evening so at a guess without looking back in my log I would say about 12 hours. We run about 60nm and averaged 5 knots. Obviously faster cruising boats would be much quicker than this as we are at the slower end of passage makers. I remember having breakfast in Falmouth and Dinner in St Mary’s but it was a little passed dinner time. Regards mike
Delightful, thank you! ⛵️🍾❤️

Beautiful day!

Nice video and lovely weather.
I’m not a sailor but surely it’s a westerly heading to the Scilly isles not easterly ?

Hi, I was wondering how long it took you to get from Falmouth to the Scillies? Bob

Was that a joke about the Border force?
I feel what you say but the ordinary bloke working there has his hands tied I’m sure. I don’t mean to offend mike
