Amazing Thai vegetarian food in Nan, Thailand!
NAN, THAILAND (น่าน) - Today for lunch we are in the beautiful northern Thailand province of Nan. We’re going to eat at a restaurant called Ban J บ้านเจ, which means house of vegan food.
The owner is so extremely friendly and will welcome you into the restaurant like family - and you really are eating at her house in the yard. She serves Thai Jay, or vegan food / plant based, although she had eggs on the menu today, so maybe it was an exception for the day.
Anyway, she has all the dishes set up at the front and it’s self service, you can choose all you want and eat all you want - buffet for 50 THB ($1.52) per person.
All the food was delicious, but I could not get enough of the chili dip with cashew nuts, which went perfectly with all the raw and blanched vegetables. Highly recommended, delicious Thai vegetarian / vegan food when you’re in Nan, Thailand.

The best ever food vlog so far for my taste perhaps because it's clean eating, not over the top, such relaxing place and homey...I can stay with Auntie for a month's vacation and eat her delicious prepared dishes!

Thai vegetarian food is the best. Lots of flavour and color and deliciousness. I'm lucky enough to live close to one small restaurant in Bangkok, and a short drive away is my favorite place- the cook is a genius.

Love your genuine enjoyment when you eat all of your food. Not pretentious and fake "mmmm" either. Can tell you really love your veggies herbs etc.

Omg mark you make my mouth watery I want some vegetarian food now. I love vegetarian since I have grown older, but before I didn't eat so much. Been craving for some vegetarian crispy noodles at golden lotus they have some good vegetarian food too. They are vietnamese style vegetarian.
