    Bought one for a Street Glide that I had for a minute. It worked great. Got one for the Low Rider ST. I'm 5'11" and it is an inch or two too short for me. The wind would hit me in the face, but if I ducked down a bit, it was fine. klockwerks says they have heard the concerns and they are testing a taller version.

    • @TyFromTennessee
      @TyFromTennessee  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're the second person that has mentioned that. So far I'm impressed with the windshield but I wouldn't have any problem going back to the stock one too. Thank you very much!

      Thank god someone finally has a review on the 8inch! I've been debating on buying one for a month but no reviews. I actually talked to klockwerks back in April about making an 8 inch and they said until they get more messages about it they weren't going to so I had the guys on the ST page email bomb them and then they actually made it. But the bronze sold out right away and that's the one I want. Good to know it works good and the buffeting is gone. The 10" is just too tall looking for my taste.

  • @jeremythomas7278

    I am 5'8" and running the 10 inch screen from Harley. Still getting buffeting in turns. Wondering if it's because of it being more narrow.
    Torn between the 6" and 8". Any thoughts?

    I want to save everyone money and advise you to not to buy the 6" Klock Werks. I put one on my 2022 Low Rider ST today and it is not even close to being better than the stock screen. Although the stock screen allows wind to hit your upper chest and helmet, at least is constant "clean air." Because the Klock Werks has a dramatic FLARE at the top of the screen (meant to shoot air over you) is disrupts the air and causes "dirty turbulent air." You do notice less air hitting you, but the air that hits you is "buffeting" air. I wear a Simpson full face helmet. After my ride today at streets and highway speeds, when I got home I immediately put the stock screen back on. I would not say I wasted my money by purchasing the Klock Werks, because it taught me that the stock screen is much better and to appreciated the bike's awesome wind managment. Maybe when Klock Werks comes out with a taller screen it will be better... but for now save your money... I warned you.

      I had the same experience with both the Medium and Large Clearview windshields, I'm 5'9". Both caused head buffeting that I didn't get from stock. Still looking for something that I can ride with that gives more rain protection. I may try the KW 8" but waiting for more reviews on it.

      @@militaryminedid2011 I installed the KW 8" (I'm 5'8") a week ago. It is excellent up to 65 mph, as soon as you pass 65 mph it is hell; very strong head buffeting. I replaced it with OEM 10" but I did not have the chance to test it yet

    So I have had a different experience then you with the oem windscreen. Although it looked great on the bike, I would get wind buffeting much more then your describing. Im also 6ft tall so I know that makes a big difference. I didnt go with the klock werks one because it looks like it wouldnt be any better then stock (which you have confirmed in this video) So I decided to go with the light smoke Harley screen, and I can tell you its night and day difference with wind buffeting, I absolutely love it. Only downside is its not tinted as dark as this one and oem one but thats ok, I suppose you could have someone put a darker tint on it. I wont be doing that because its tall enough that I feel like a darker tint would obstruct my view, but the harley 10 inch light smoke functions much better.

  • @bigralph1968
    @bigralph1968 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It looks good but, if you want better wind protection get the tall Harley-Davidson one. It makes the wind go over your head, no more strong wind in the face.

Here in the uk we have O2 sensors in the OEM slip ons this is due to emissions laws. My ST is booked in to the dealer for a fuel map and O2 delete. I’m looking forward to the spring.
