I'm 5'9" and just received the Clearview Medium and Large. Both give me more head buffeting over the stock. At +75 mph, the Large causes a ton of wind resistance, slightly more with the Medium, affecting steering a bit for me. Now it's back to stock which puts more wind on my chest, but it's "clean" air with no buffeting. Will look at the Klock Werks 8" or try the Clearview small which may be a good balance of protection and clean wind (no buffeting).
I got the small and its 2 inches taller than stock and gives you better wind protection than stock but still looks good. I don't understand how ppl want to have a wall to protect them. If you have a full face, what's a little wind on the top off you head. LOL. it's a motorcycle.
@@lowriderST24how tall are you? And did you went with the vented or non vented one. And do you notice any head buffeting with that small sized clearview Shield?
@@a.j.1327 I didn't get the vented shield. The wind hits me on the top part of my forehead, but with a full face, you would never know. I wear a half bucket helmet. I think I might get a medium for long overnight trips.
Hi.. I’m 5’8 and I have the small but non vented and I was comparing to the stock and I hear a lot less wind.. but I have the low rider s but I bought the fairing to make it a st. Coming from a Memphis shades road warrior i love the st fairing and small clearview no comparison from Memphis shades road warrior to st fairing…
I actually moved all the motorcycle content to a separate channel- Rusted KC Moto. However, the weather has been terrible for riding and not supposed to be above freezing for the foreseeable future. I do have a modification video or 2 I’ll try and get out at some point on that channel.
Any reviews on vented vs non vented ? Great vids by the way..thank you.. Im 6 ft. Even with a 23 LRST Considering x-large non vented but may go with a large...
Hello , Your video is very interesting and I will need additional information. What is the model of your windshield, L or XL because it seems the same length as Harley's 10" and the total length of it. I measure 69" and I raised my saddle which it model choose. THANKS Daniel

Congratulations on your LRST. Are you working on a video, or taking the winter off?

Is this smoke or medium gray?
What is your height? I'm 6'1" and tried the 8" & 10" klock werks windshields. Both have buffering. I need a better replacement
What's the big deal with the wind? I just got a Low Rider S...not ST. Coming from a YZFR1, I cannot understand what the issue with wind is.
Mainly comfort on long highway rides
The wind noise is very loud on it.
Have you heard of the new klock works 10 inch? I think you tried the 6 inch and it got bad reviews. I can't find anything on the 10.
I actually have the 10” Klockwerks

Your explanation is very helpful
I’m 5.7 with Saddlemen step up seat, what I should go with?
Thanks
Does the saddleman seat raise or lower your seating position from the stock seat?
