Verdict on the windshield? Many reviews of their 10" say it's no bueno, so curios how the 8" is. I just tried a Medium and Large Clearview windshield and got more head buffeting than the stock. Still looking for something to replace stock.
@@militaryminedid2011 agreed the 6 inch looks better but im with you on the function aspect and i have to admit after a few days i actually really like the look now of the 8”
@@militaryminedid2011 i will also add that the buffeting is gonna happen on any of these windshields but the KW fit and finish and overall look and style points is hard to beat
Whats the vertdict after a few weeks?? I had a medium clearview and felt it buffeted worse than stock. More turbulent air at hwy speeds. The stock sheild shook my helmet less. Clean air hitting it with the stock sheild. Hopefully this 8" klock is the ticket
Ive noticed over the stock windshield, the wind noise is much less. I can hear my cardo much better, i can hold a bluetooth phone conversation through my helmet at 85mph+ with no issues. I used to have to end the call through my cardo at around 35mph because the wind noise was so great that the microphone wouldnt pick up my voice and i could barely head the other persons voice when they spoke. I also noticed i can hear my music much much clearer. There is less head and body fatigue with the 8” over stock. While i dont think theres a perfect solution for the wind buffeting problem i do think the 8” klock werks is pretty dang solid.
@jtsantiago11 good to hear. Does the recurve affect your vision of the road? Or are u looking over the screen still at that height? I was on klockworks case for awhile trying to get them to make an 8" glad they did. I dig the bronze. I'm more concerned with buffeting shaking my helmet at sustained hwy speeds. Hopefully it's better than the clearview.
@@fvgc454ss i do look over and the recurve does not affect vision. Buffeting at hwy speeds has not affected me it seems as the wind goes over my helmet

Ive actually grown to really like it. It did great on my roadtrip. Seems to be the perfect compromise between stock and the 10 inch.
I tried the large ClearView and hated it. So I sold it.
I'm tempted to go with the 6" KW. The 8 inch doesn't look as good. Thanks.
The 6" does look better. I'm more about function over looks these days though. Good luck in your trials
