Hey there hope you're doing great. I just want to ask does your wallet feels oily after that? Because I tried conditioning my newly bought wallet with leather conditioner (using saphir nappa leather) and it still feels oily even after i waited for 10 mins and buffed it. I wonder how long should we wait? Because it kind of leaves some finger print if i touch it. Thank you in advance!

I have a question. I've had my leather wallet for about 2 years and the see through clear area where I keep my driving license has tinted red color from my license. Is there a way to clean that and prevent it from happening?

hi Dave, sorry for the late response as you might notice I've been away on vacation and just safely landed 2 days ago. In regard to prevention, I don't believe there is any way you can do it without rotating your wallet every month to avoid this stain. To clean it up, you might want to use acetone (for nail cleaner) or isopropyl cleaning alcohol. I hope you find this information useful mate. thanks for watching!

Thanks a lot for the response. I will try that and probably get a second wallet for rotation. Hope you had a great trip, thanks again.

its ok to teethbrush the stitchings?
I think this is too hardcore cleaning :D
In most cases, a damp cloth is enough.
I wont push too hard on the stitchings, I dont know, it cant be good to rub cotton stitches.
Anyway for a second hand wallet I could try your method. Thanks for sharing!
