I have no plan to keep buying or selling luxury bags, so I do my best to store my bags well, and look after them. In this video, I share how I care for my luxury bags. I do rotate my pieces regularly and so far, the wear and tear has been minimal. I'm hoping my small designer bag collection will continue to last me for years xx

Great video Eileen! You inspire us to love and care for the things we have instead of constantly buying new things. It never occurred to me use soft clothes as stuffing for the handbags! I appreciate you so much. Now I have to go to my handbags to make certain they are stored the best way to keep them looking great for a very long time.

I have two pre-loved *preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.
I also check the weather before choosing which bag to carry. I have several bags with vachetta leather and would hate to get caught in the rain and have that ruined. And several that are more open, so I need to make sure the contents don't get wet as well.
Definitely! Years ago I was offer an Hermes Constance mini in box leather, I went in to have a look, thinking perhaps I could bring it to a wedding the next day. I didn't end up buying it, and I think it was universe looking after me. At the wedding, the bride's father accidentally knocked over a vase and the water spilled all over me. If it was the Box Constance I was carrying, it would have been written off completely xx

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I would be happy to have the *gtdupe* as my travel bag and not have to take care of it. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

Like you I decided against keeping the lock and key on my Hermes Kelly and Birkin. I got extremely upset when I looked at my Birkin at home and I didn't see the lock. I looked everywhere and I thought I'd have to go to the boutique and order a new one ...for 400 or so dlls. Luckily, I got in my car and right on the passenger seat where I usually place my bags that's where the lock was! Now I keep both the key and locks in the folder with all the information from a particular handbag. Like you I keep accurate files from all my handbags. TFS Eileen.

It’s very helpful for someone like me who is just starting out in the luxury bag industry. I do wonder, is it better to store the bags upright or on their side? I’ve noticed my small Chanel double flap has started to crease when standing upright. I don’t want to lay it flat since I don’t want the puffiness to deflate either. Your thoughts would be much appreciated !

I noticed that the metal zipper inside of my handbag has tarnished. I tried baking soda & water to clean it. I saw a small difference, but I stopped because I don’t want to ruin the lining. Great video!

How do you store the leather shoulder straps for bags? I’m worried about storing them in the bag because they are continuously bent and fear cracking of the leather. is there a better way to store them that you would recommend?

Hi, I purchased dustbag from amazon.. after I kept my handbag in them, I felt the dust bag was so cold and sticky .. is this the normal thing?
