Yes, would love to know where day two's accommodation was? I can feel a booking coming on! Great work by the way, can't believe these are some your first Video's, very slick.
Great vids for a first time at it champ. Passed through some of those areas recently on a UK holiday. Top box for 100 something pounds🤷♂️, absolutely not possible here in Aus, please add some details on that.
1:40 The route you took was the same as I did a few moths ago! I also intended to follow the road right around Anglesey, but between poor road signs, and a few of my own mistakes, I ended up doing the same as you!
Can relate to the cruise control, this bike ive currently got is the first ive had with cruise and it helps with left hand ache immensely. That top box looks like a givi trekker outback and if so you can mount a bag on top using velcro straps, coupled with a givi tank lock and tank bag will give you more room on the bike. Great video ride safe Gaz.
Your doing a top job JOE. Definitely tell your getting more comfortable and relaxed. The only advice I would give you is just do you, and what you like doing, if people like it they will come to your channel mate. 👍👍👍 From me
Keep up the good work pal . Your doing a great job. Wish I could do wales as I too suffer from a bad back and after 2hrs riding I'm I agony. Look forward to more videos off you 👍
Nice video, enjoying your channel 👍 with regards to the slipping about on the seat, I had a similar problem with slippy leather gloves. I solved with a couple of sprays of goalie glove spray on glue.
Just loving your video mate , I ride a GSA and in the last two years how found myself ridding solo . Keep it up sir . And maybe our paths with cross one day .
Really enjoyed your videos. Looking for my next bike and it will be a middle weight adventure bike so interested to see the 890 in a real world test. Enjoyed your style- open and honest. I’d be interested to know more about you though, a bit of background to give context. Keep it up, I’ll be looking out for your next vid.
I too am planning to do my first overnighter somewhere. Enjoyed your 2 videos, keep it real I'd say as you are doing. So far, I've learnt that there is nothing like just get on and do it, lessons will be learnt the best way by actually experiencing what works and what doesn't. Subscribed - looking forward to more 😎
Starting small, a couple of nights or so trip to Cornwall to see how several hours in the seat (with breaks) feels like (travelling from Hampshire). Then a longer trip around Wales. We''ll see after that. Irleland and northern Spain are on the list. Looking at buying a 1250GSA as a stablemate for my R1200c to do these long trips on. Not so keen on the new 1300GS looks wise.
Well done. Subscribed on your 1st vid. I actually like that it's not overly polished.... it's real. I've been exploring Ireland this year, and I'm putting a Wales on my calendar for 2024 after seeing some of your footage.
Great video!! Inspiration for me to get another bike for adventure. Sheep skin seat cover for your back and think about saddle bags to keep the weight lower 👍🏻
Re the sliding about on the seat - I had problem with my leather gloves sliding and not getting a good grip on my leather grips (throttle especially). I fixed it by using 'Goalkeeper Glue' spray.
Great follow on from the first video watched both straight after each other and you can tell you are getting more comfortable talking to camera and your personality is starting to show well done look forward to the next one
@@freedom-machines You will likely have to pay a KTM dealer to activate the Tech Pack to get functioning cruise control, QS and rally mode. I think around £800.00, but I might be wrong. If you buy a bike from a KTM dealer then you can haggle and maybe get it thrown in, but you bought yours from Superbikefactory so probably no wriggle room.
Doing great Joe!! I subscribed straight up on episode 1 - I’m about to start on the same path as you, but from Australia. One small observation - try to get your off-bike audio levels around the same as the on-bike and music. But I’m there and looking forward to more from you. Cheers. Mal.
5:14 I've never understood the point of a quick-shifter, on anything other than an all-out sports bike. Why would anyone buy an adventure sport bike (like yours), if shaving microseconds off their progress is important to them? How does NOT having a quick-shifter negatively affect the riding experience on bikes like this? I just don't get it!
For me in all honesty it’s just convenience. Multiple days of long rides I start to get issues with my hands and shoulders however I feel cruise control would tackle these issues. It’s just if the individual is willing to pay for these rider aids. I understand where you are coming from though, too many aids ruin the experience.
Good video Joe, well done, dont forget to say where you stay for the night.

You’ve got your cap on wrong way round mate!🤪
Haha 😂
You need to tell us where the Air B&B places are !
Interesting seeing someone new to showing their adventures 🙂 A link the the accommodation used would be really helpful. Keep it up !

I’ve included the link in the comments for the top box. Great find mate!

Maybe I'm just an old meat head but I can't see/find the link to the top box, sorry.
You did well. Plenty of places to see so you have definitely scope for more travels and discovery in Wales. 👍
NICE 👍
Thanks ✌
Maybe add links to the airbnb's
Sorted ✅

It’s harder than it looks, it might to time to consider a gps. I had a load of problems navigating with a phone, even using a pre plotted route.

Love Wales. I've been exploring mid Wales this year. Great old school adventure blog without endless drone shots 👏 looking forward to the next part.
Thanks 🙏🏼 love the KTM 🙌
Keep up the good work pal . Your doing a great job. Wish I could do wales as I too suffer from a bad back and after 2hrs riding I'm I agony. Look forward to more videos off you 👍
Hey Craig hope the back gets better soon! Thanks for the message 👍🏻 speak soon

Great idea! Thanks for that, I’m going to get some on Amazon

Thank you Carl, that would be cool 🤙
Joe you have to unlock quick shift and get rally mode aswel the difference is shocking but you’ll like it ✌
👀 I think this needs to be done ASAP. Tyres need changing very soon as well !

@freedom-machines I live in Ireland so finding lots of naughty little roads and stunning views!
Cruise and gear shift are all part of the Tech Pack that, it appears, have not been switched on. It can be, at a cost
Thanks Mike, I’ll take it into KTM 👍🏻
Love wales never disappoints. Great vlog buddy 👍🏍
Thank you mate!
Great video!! Inspiration for me to get another bike for adventure. Sheep skin seat cover for your back and think about saddle bags to keep the weight lower 👍🏻
Thank you 🙏🏼 both great ideas 💡. Getting another bike is always a good idea 👍🏻
I’m following along, awesome trip! Have you gotten the cruise and quickshifter to work by now?
Not yet! I need to get this sorted before the sun arrives 👍🏻
