Hey Joe, Welcome to Wales (croeso i gymru) and it's beautiful scenic hills and valleys, you and thousands of other people are unaware that The Brecon Beacons have been renamed "Bannau Brycheiniog" don't worry I've not heard one person pronounce or even mention it,... Just watched your first 3 MotoVlogs, Well Done, I live on the mid Wales border, you would of past my house in episode 3, pity you didn't spend more time riding around this green vastness as there are so many beautiful spots to ride in, you actually rode past quite a few places of interest, not to worry, hope you return for episode 4, 5 and 6 sometime in the near future, Good Luck with your next Adventure, OAP Wales.
Where do we start? Your best bet is to pick up a Croeso Welcome Guide either the next time you enter Wales from most of the cafe establishments or Tourist information Centre, There are just to many beautiful places to mention, Oh and just remember that some of the places are seasonal and close for 6 months of the year, for instance: The Two Hoots Cafe and Steam Train - Dan-yr-ogof Caves - Chimpanzee Sanctuary and so on,... Besides that your footage is very good, I haven't reached that stage but I have started posting Shorts from my phone, great fun and good medication for a retired OAP with health issues, just realised that I haven't subscribed, I'm in....PS If there is anything I can help you with on any trips around Wales please let me know, Safe Travels.... Added Edit: Sorry forgot to explain that I have only mentioned the above as they are just a few places of interest that you rode past, like any motorcyclist mecas around the world if you don't know the area you will just pass through its hidden wonders.
Hi there just found your channel and absolutely love it . Love the content really really good l have just decided to jump back on a motorcycle again with my son. Love the KTM fantastic machine you should try a ride down to Shropshire not a great distance from your location. Give Ludlow a visit great riding country side Shrewsbury bridgnorth Hereford all fantastic rides. Any way keep up the good work fantastic channel look forward for more videos soon. Regards Geoff and Sam.
Hi Joe, Great vid, thank you. Vids 1 and 2 N.Wales is my stomping ground. On your way to Anglesey you went down the A55, horror show for a biker. You can get there only loosing 40 mins on some amazing roads. You said it’s great to set off without fixed plans which can be a blast, I agree, but on the flip side a few “best roads” vids are invaluable and stop you missing out. I’m no massive touring expert but I’ve done a bit and for a bike,Google maps is not good. Well worth £70 buying one of the motorcycle apps, best bike purchase I’ve made. It sounds expensive but compared to a dedicated GPS it’s cheap and will give you lifetime membership. Updates tonnes of useful features ect. Really don’t mean to be patronising, just friendly advice. Think you’re doing brilliant making the vids for us. I’d happily meet up in N.Wales in the spring, show you some great roads. No problem. Cheers T
I've just watched this video andi see you just visited Shropshire well done we live in Shropshire. Im glad you enjoyed the visit. Regards Geoff and Sam.
I watch many TH-cam videos of people on their motorcycle travels and have just found your channel and just watched all three videos you have posted. Really enjoyed them as down to earth and not full of drone footage which appears to be all the rage at the moment. I just done 227 miles today around a very wet and flooded North Wales with an advanced riding group I ride with and don't change a thing you do and keep it nice and simple and I'm sure you will soon be attracting far more subscribers 👍
Great job Joe, just watched all three vids and subscribed of course. A word to the wise, GoPro’s are nothing but trouble, sound problems and broken brackets are just the beginning believe me. I’d suggest you sell what you have (they’ll fetch good money) and move over to DJI Osmo Action 3’s or 4’s, THEY JUST WORK ! You’ll torture yourself with the GoPro’s and end up leaving them behind at some point I guarantee you. Keep up the great work.
I’ve just found your Channel and I I’ll spend the next few days sat catching up, great commentary and and camera work, looking forward to seeing more content
Joe my advice would be if you love the bike and its a keeper then I would definitely go for the rally pack and all 3 unlocks/updates it will pay for its self in time ,unfortunately joe I think you have chosen a unreliable brand, I know several people that I ride with and they have had some quite serious electrical issues but hopefully you will be ok, like you said in your video its not the most reliable brand if you are doing some serious adventure riding in the backwoods, anyway joe enjoying your content and channel. Good luck and keep the videos coming.
I’ve been ripping this exact bike for a year now, rain, mud, big miles… zero issues. Before that I’ve put 50.000km’s on a Ducati monster, same thing. People have one or two mates with an electrical issue and suddenly the brand (which produces millions of bikes each year) is unreliable… disregard all the hear say and find out for yourself I say…
I was hooked after day 1 of your trip. Easy to watch and informative. I Keep going north, I am going to have to go West now, I look forward to your future adventures, thanks for sharing them.
Love Wales. Would be good for you to return and venture more the wonderfull land. Well done though on your first attempt of the utube malarkey. Look forward to more biking adventures from you. Wish you well. 👍
Another Great video, the tyres fitted on new bikes are always of less quality even though they have fantastic tyre brands and names on. I use michelin anakee adventure these days, great on road and ok on a bit of gravel, grass and stuff. Ride safe Gaz
@@freedom-machines The adventure version for me, being an old chap I didn't want the road noise from the wild, and about the only time I'm off road for a long time these days is at the ABR (Adventure Bike riders Festival), ride safe Joe, Gaz
Nice one Joe, i live in Manchester and Wales is great day out for us. You should give the Old stores motorcycle cafe in Mold ago for breakfast, its about 50 mile away with some cracking roads and the cafe itself would make some good video content. Keep up the good work mate
Hi Joe, great videos! It’s definitely a great country you have. I’m in Australia we have a huge country the see. I would love to see your country and travel through Europe. For now I have plenty of great riding. Any way keep up the great work and stay safe out there!
Sennybridge garage cafe one of my faves , you missed out snowdonia and the amazing roads and views, you could of gone to machynlleth then over to Llandovery llyn brianne resivours to Llandovery on overvdevils staircase to the cafe in Sennybridge then brecon to Abergavenny to the baffle haus for a exspensive coffee then on to Hereford etc, never mind you can do it all again lol , great vid keep them coming 👍
@@freedom-machines I can meet up.with you and take you out for the day showing you the views , riding the coast roads is very nice through all the seaside towns etc, there's so much to ride in wales , we done a trip a few weeks ago all around the coast up to barmouth then back via snowdonia through mid Wales, there a 1000 me loop that goes around the coast to angelsey around angelsey to barmouth across to Wrexham then cut across down through snowdonia back to Abergavenny or across to Wrexham then follow the roads done the Welsh border then follow the seven estuary into England
Love wales I was there on a bike trip earlier this year too, it has a lot to offer. New subscriber, I liked the vids you have a great attitude and positive outlook, stay that way and good luck happy riding 👍🏻
