      VCG will do some TTR on them too and actually put it up against the fair competition. Either way not a good look for flex to enter the market this way, I would rather an honest test and them lose barely, rather than to force their tools to win under non consistent variables, even when they did a fair test with the sawzalls, of course they didn't go up against the super Sawzall. Between all the honest channels out there, they will get down to the bottom line of what type of quality and durability flex is working with.

      LoL, never heard of this guy but it appears as though Ryobi completely owns him. Ryobi rebels sticker? Ryobi shirt? Ryobi banners? I will stick to my Makita and Milwaukee that I have used in a professional capacity for years and years.
      Not going to lie though I did buy that Ryobi power scrubber for cleaning my tile floors. I am not even kidding, my wife was really surprised to see me bring home Ryobi. I've how to return two of them because they just quit working the 3rd one is still working but the second Makita or Milwaukee make a power scrubber I'm ditching the Ryobi.
      Don't get me wrong you're not going to see me buying some flex impact from an infomercial.

  • @juanc5149

    Also there’s another reason why they’re not throwing shade at DeWalt. Lowe’s carries DeWalt, and it’s an exclusive big box retail carrier of the power detect, and Lowe’s will carry Flex exclusively as well. So it makes more sense to go against a competitor that is exclusively sold at Home Depot.

    • @ApacheLife-50
      @ApacheLife-50 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I noticed the same thing once they brought out the second Milwaukee. Shots fired but I’m not convinced about Flex. I’d rather get the same 24v jazz with Kobalt. Ooooooh then I’d be missing out on the turrbbbboooo button. Really men don’t need a gimmicky turbo button at work.

I'm not (overly) muscular nor do I have a "mean look" in my face. I just want to get things done on my small farm with one and the same platform. With minimal use of petrol. The differences between the platforms (Milwaukee, deWalt, Makita and so on) are measured in seconds, not in hours. My advice: stick to your platform and be happy.

    Reminds me of a TV ad for plastic wrap back in the late 70s, touting how theirs was much more resistant to puncture than the competition's. they illustrated this by poking a finger up through a piece of each of the wraps. If you paid attention, you'd notice that when pushing on their own wrap, the fingertip was bent back so it was the fleshy pad pushing. When pushing against the competitor's wrap, the finger was pointed more straight, causing the fingernail to touch, too, not just the soft fingertip. Unsurprisingly, a sharp fingernail is MUCH better at poking through plastic wrap than a broad, soft fingertip. Whod'a thunk?

      Flex tools are extremely powerful. I wasn't bashing the tools in this video. I was just bashing their promo video itself. the reality is Flex wins and Flex loses, but in this video, Flex didn't just win, it slaughtered with no contest. companies finds certain tasks that it does well on and that is the test that they use.

I've only upgraded as needed due to tools walking off site etc.. I find that most of the time peoples that search for the most "powerful" tools are usually guys that don't know how to use them to begin with. It's 90% about the operator and using the right tool for the right task.. I don't use impact wrench for task that an impact driver is designed for or viscera.. and to boot just like u said, they didn't even use all fuel tools and the operators noticeably looked like they were only trying when using the flex.. was kind of comical at time.. with that said there was some features of the flex tools that did interest me.. but not enough switch...
