I'm a mechanic and my dentist wanted to have stainless steel cat back exhaust rear sway bar notsolow springs and a few other things and since it didn't have a rear sway bar I'm glad u made this video my guy thank you
I highly recommend bolting the bracket on first and then torquing the two bolt/nut combination for each side before putting on the sway bar. If you try to loosely mount everything and then tighten you will not be able to torque down the one bolt on each side because they're close together. I reversed both bolts on the sway bar so that all the 17mm bolts are on the inside of the bracket.
I will see what i can record and such. on our Instagram Its_Just_A_mazda, ill be posting some picture of how the car did and how it felt while pushing it on the Tail of the Dragon.
I can’t believe the current Mazda3 didn’t come with sway bars!😳 Too bad those plastic covers can’t be reused…they’re designed quite well with the air louvers.😔 This RSB is a must have item!
It did amazing! So, we had ran the Tail of the Dragon last fall in our 4th gen, and we had that same issue with the rear just wanting to break free. After installing this, we ran it there, and the car did incredible. Its for sure a must have if you plan on pushing your car on banked turns. We had also installed the new Rear Motor Mount prior to our runs, and the throttle response out of turns was amazing. Both products paired up worked seemlessly.
@@DavidTMSN which ones? The ones attached to the bar, put a wrench in the back side where the nut is, and torque the bolt, or for the bracket, I was able to get a torque wrench from the top
@@itsjustamazda It's the one in the corner there's no clearance to torque it down, same on the other side. I can torque down the bolt side but not the nut side. Same goes for the bolt side. So 1 nut per side that's in the corner of the bracket. 1 bolt per side that's also in the same corner if that makes sense.
I ordered from CorkSport directly, and honestly, they get released to 7th gear member first (part of their club membership) and sold out to their members, I’d look into joining that. It’s well worth it, as our mazda handles a whole let better around turns, than just being on our coilovers
@@athomas2k8 they are oem housings that were opened and modified. They can do anything. Fully programmable. Check out our Instagram for more (link in our bio)
Have only been able to test on back roads, but it’s been doing great, lot better feel from the rear, and doesn’t feel like you’re driving a go kart now
I wish that all install videos could be like this.

I had no issues with loosely installing everything.
Great vid! I've got one in a box but haven't installed it yet on my AWD hatch. You should put up a driving review!

Would be GREAT to see a professional re-installation of the aero covers...
Now what about if you want to install the dust covers back on?
@@sonofagun5305 Never had an issue with them off, but their instructions show what to do if you’re doing so.
ty for the video btw, had this on the garage tv before and during the install
Why did you torque the sway bar before bolting the bracket? Thanks
Because you have adjustment play on the brackets. You don’t have that on the bar. So you don’t want unwanted tension.

They can be reused, but you just have to trim them some
How’d it do? I took my gen 4 3 on tail of the dragon and on corners one of my rear tire would completely lose contact lol

@@itsjustamazda How did you torque the inside bolts of the bracket when there's no clearance?

So you apply anti seize on all 8 bolts!
Also what’s the website for the headlights? I can’t find anything under Fusion lights.
Thanks
Yes, and they are on instagram @shopfusionlighting
May I know where did you get the sway bar? Cuz corksprt is back order till Feb 2023. Thanks

Thanks dad
Is that decals from corksport??
Wow thanks! How are you able to change the color of the lights like that?
They are custom made by Fusion Lighting, and Run $1100
@@itsjustamazda awesome. Can you leave it on one color? How hard was it to take out old lights and put the new housing in?

whered you get those rainbow leds?
I build them

Rear Torsion bar yuck 🤢
