If it comes to light, I hope it's a Zero May Cry type game while also hoping we don't get the same damn lazily recycled Fire-Thunder-Ice bosses that the Zero series did for some reason
Yeah man, I think X series Zero is average height, but Zero (mmz) is a lil shorter. Not only is he a short king, but other people like Balrog call him a tot as well😭
According to Ferham's concept art, X is 5'5" and Zero is roughly 5'9". Meanwhile, the Kotobukia Zero 1/10 scale figure is 16 cm, so Zero is 5'3" in the Zero series. Assuming the pixels scale right, this means that Copy X is 5' even and Ciel is absolutely tiny at 4'6".
@@demi-femme4821 X is officially 160cm (5'3") (and 57kg), he and Rock/Mega are the only two characters to have official heights and weights. In CM X's wearing the heeled New Armor, accounting for the extra 5cm (yes, their armor *is* counted in their height/weight). If you only count from the white part of his helmet it's roughly 164cm (X1), 168cm (X2), 170cm (PSX).) GBA Zero, scaling Copy X's standing to Zero's transporter/door interaction stance sprites (assuming Copy X is 160cm, as Command Mission is confirmed to be a parallel universe rather than canon to mainline): 168cm (without horns), which matches the 168cm no-horns calculation of X2. 9:01 Slight correction: You don't need to connect to Z3 to fight Omega. He's a secret fight in Area N you can do even without connecting a Zero cart, unlike the other ones. This is also the intended way to get Model O, fighting the Z3 & 4 bosses is simply an alternate method.

Hey, after years watching this kind of videos I still learned a lot of new things, awesome video I thought the art of omega" at 9:43 was fanart... Didn't even realize they actually tried to use the original design at any point... A shame they gave up on that
Damn it I love this game so much, even though I only get the chance to play it recently. It is such a beautiful piece of work in general, from the gameplay to the plot. Awesome video I love it! This game is so woderful and, in the same time, so sad. There was a lot of facts about this game that I just get it now, that is, aftet I saw your video. The zero's death in Zero 4 is so painful for me 'cause, like Ciel, I too lost a hero in my life, but for me was a heroine, my beloved mum in July 26 (last year). Sorry for my broken English. Hugs.
This is amazing! I did know a lot of this because I am OBSESSED with MegaMan Zero 🥰❤️ (And because I have just seen your "All ZX References to past games" video) But the part where Ciel is a modified human? And where Dr.Weil's transformation is actually painful? AMAZING STUFF MAN. :O 🔥
You did a great job but I got so confused watching this. Cause I knew about things lower down in the list but had never heard of a lot of the stuff in the first tier.
Mega Man ZX's version of Omega can use Ranbu anytime if you never knew. In Zero 3 he uses it after reaching half health or less. He also has little to no delay, making his attacks faster and more lethal. The best tactic is to quickly switch biometals between attacks (specifically models h and zx) and hit him during the rekkouha, which heals him by 8 points.
I remember a ton of arguments about this, they argued that the shadow in the sun is Zero or that you can see shadows of Zero's legs and saber on the ground.
I would like to clarify Biometal OX is not the prize for linking Zero 3 or 4 to ZX. I had ZX and only ever owned Zero 2 growing up but was still able to obtain OX. OX is available by default on NORMAL run for ZX.
Small correction for 9:00 in that you do not need Zero 3 in the GBA slot to fight Omega Zero, he's available to fight regardless of whether there's any game in the GBA slot or not. Model Ox is NOT the prize for linking the games, but rather is simply obtained by defeating Omega Zero and then finding it lower down into the ruins, passed the link doors, and is as such obtainable even if you don't own Zero 3 or Zero 4 but is not obtainable in easy mode. You can however use the link feature to fight the other bosses instead of Omega, unlocking Model Ox that way.
Yeah I had learned this after I had made the video, and included it in the pinned comment. I honestly never knew, as I only owned ZX through the Zero/ZX collection, but every other game on DS.
@@PrimeShiem Even in the Zero/ZX collection, the linking system works just like it did before, it's just a menu toggle instead. You can test this out by setting it to not link to either game, but you are still able to fight Omega and obtain Model Ox.
@@PrimeShiem I do find the convenience of the menu to be a huge QoL change, though I've always thought it's strange since the game is an outright port. Why not just have both doors be unlocked by default instead?
I don't think it's that weird that Bit has his shield in the illusion attack because all the illusions seem to be of the characters when Zero fought them
This is such a well thought out and well formatted video ‼ With lots of facts that I didn't previously know! I'm getting more memories back of the Mega MAn Zero games in my childhood, I really loved that series a lot. And yaay I'm so glad Inti Creates' concert was mentioned, it was one of the best things ever!! The composers involved are so amazing... MMZ series is one of the reasons I got heavily into remixes , especially with their Inti Creates official remix tracks. Their sound team is one of the very best.... Thank you for making these videos ✨✨✨
I always heard about how they wanted to end the series with zero 3, but interesting how they wanted to tell the in between section from the end of zero 1 and beginning of 2 as an epilogue of the series. kinda reminds me of what they did with JoJo part 5's ending. Also Omega's original design was really neat to see but honestly I'm glad they just used zero's actually mmz design and recolored it.
Last thing I'll say is I know this isn't really related to the official zero series but ultimatemaverickzx has made annimated recreations of certain scenes from the series and would've been cool if the iceberg added that just to shine light there. Here's a link to one of the animations btw if your curious:th-cam.com/video/_FT6DfbV1cc/w-d-xo.html
Also lastly I feel like another missing entry could've been 2 of the ending songs from zero 2 and 3 which kinda tell a story in a way for zero's thoughts on the events at hand during those games, Like for example with clover (Zero 2's ending vocal theme) it can be inferred that the song was about zero reflecting on the events of the x series and both iris and x. While everlasting red (zero 3's ending vocal theme) can be inferred about a semi epilogue of zero's story and character in the present kinda of a present/past theme, which ironically fits with freesia or promise new world being fittingly ciel's theme. Anyways sorry I got a little to analytical there lol.
Also, bringing up Clover and Everlasting Red really would have been a good point, and I actually planned to talk about that, and other things in a video about things I missed on the iceberg.
Megaman Zero 4 was my first Megaman Zero game. I played it and completed Hard mode but when I played Megaman 1,2, & 3, it feels a lot more difficult than 4.
As someone who speedruns Metroid: Zero Mission… yeah I got that reference, lol. I feel like it’s referencing a common typo from people who are abbreviating Metroid Zero Mission and/or Mega Man Zero (MZM and MMZ respectively). Zero suit Samus first appears in MZM. Also both MZM and MMZ were released on GBA.
I dont understand why people tend to use a specific stage track to point out it has the x5 ending theme, when its kind of the lei motif of zero 4, the rebels camp, the ending theme itself that sounds closer in tempo to the x5 ending theme. Also you can get model OX, as well as fight omega zero, without the need of the gba cartridges. If anything i think the cartridges just make you not have to fight omega to get the reward (but i did both back in the ds days)
Oretty late but: The megaman zero collection easy mode does feature the version of the ending theme of 4 with vocals. I just finished it and heard them.
Just a slight correction at 28:20 the Childre Inarabitta easter egg is actually in Megaman ZX in area F-3. Other than that this was sweet and educational video. I thought Bliss Zero was the community gender reversing Zero you learn something new everyday. In the end this video makes me wish we could get a Zero anime or elf wars or 1.5 game.
Ahh ok thank you! For the life of me I couldn't find him, thought I was tripping! I do still want a Zero anime, and getting 1.5 would be an awesome surprise.
The last one is technically canon but I got a few questions (please respond I beg lol) •Who do you think was there to see zero in space? •Do you know why they word it like that when saying “the man controlling him”. He’s not Iron man • how is Ciel GMO. How would that work? I hope you can answer these. They are KEEPING ME UP AT NIGHT thx
Oh and also Great video! I may have not been born in the time these games came out so didn’t have a gba. But I still emulated them on my phone before the collections came out (excluding the ds one) you bought one of my favourite games ever to life again with this vid. Thank you so much
1. The only character I can think of seeing Zero in space is Duo, or someone in Cyberspace, seeing as Reploid souls seem to linger there once there physical bodies are destroyed. 2. I only notice now how weirdly the passage is worded. It's intentionally separating Zero's soul, from his body, saying things like, "his original body" showing that he's the soul, and his body is just that he's body, kinda like at how the end of Zero 3, he comes to term that it doesn't matter if his body is a fake, since he's the real deal. 3. Her DNA was altered purposely, and she was likely born to speed along Neo Arcadias research. They likely altered her DNA so she'd have a higher intellect.
Weil as a name has two different pronunciations depending on if it's the German version of the name or the French version. In German the letter W makes a V sound (So phonetically the name is still Vile). If it's French it's V sound still, but it's pronounced more like Vale. All the Resistance characters have French Names so it's possible that was the intended pronunciation. However, I think it more likely they were thinking of the German pronunciation due to his Japanese name being Vile.
The original JP pronunciation is バイル (Bairu), which sounds very different from French "Vale". When Rockman Zero 2 came out and his name was mentioned in the pre-credits, us old fans even speculated if his name could actually be "Dr. Bile", but his V-symbolism during the later games quickly cleared that up.
I quite liked the Manga By the way, another fact The voice of Ciel, is Tanaka Rie Who also voices a character in the series HyperDimension Neptunia, that character being the main character of that series Neptune she also voices the other form of this character Purple Heart. Tanaka Rie also did a cover of the Zero 4 end theme, as well as song Dimension Tripper from the other series as well
Not to be rude, but we may need someone else to make another Mega Man Zero series iceberg in the future. This one is missing many things. The Mutos reploids being named after mythological gods and Plug Man's design from Mega Man 9 being inspired by Fighting Fefnir are just 2 off the top of mind details this one misses.
The real iceburg of MMZ is that Capcom lost $1.2 billion dollars to kill off X so they could live their dream of having a 'Red Bomber'. In order to do this they had to sacrifice the tradition of giving the new spinoff the latest tech. While technically they still did they went handheld. The biggest reason for this was because the Zero series would be less accessible providing more time for Capcom to apply as much damage control so their future non-canon installments across the board didn't suffer. Well the games didn't exactly suffer. But Capcom literally lost 80% of their entire market value in order to write X off. Fast foawrd and apply the Bitcoin-Pizza algorithm to their initial loss, Capcom has taken a $14 Billion dollar loss 'JUST' to have a Red bomber with style points, regardless of what platform he was on. Hows that for 'iceburg'?
I wish this amazing series got a proper manga or better yet: anime adaptation someday because the manga we got is a huge disappointment and a betrayal to the original story. There’s so much potential in this story, we could explore the characters a bit more in anime episodes.

Oh I'd love to hear about it!
I would like to clarify Biometal OX is not the prize for linking Zero 3 or 4 to ZX. I had ZX and only ever owned Zero 2 growing up but was still able to obtain OX. OX is available by default on NORMAL run for ZX.
Yeah I mentioned this in the oinned comment.
I know, I was just mentioning why I didn't know before
@@PrimeShiem I do find the convenience of the menu to be a huge QoL change, though I've always thought it's strange since the game is an outright port. Why not just have both doors be unlocked by default instead?
I thought the same thing, instead of closing ZX, heading to the menu, activating it and reopening ZX, why not just have them unlocked all the time.
Really good idea to not add 10-second pauses inbetween entries, just covering them one after another.
Now you should do an Iceberg of the Classic Megaman iceberg
Honestly, i'd love to do another iceberg, I just know it's gonna take me a long time.
@@PrimeShiem ok then
I'm here again.... And still no megaman news.....
I don't think it's that weird that Bit has his shield in the illusion attack because all the illusions seem to be of the characters when Zero fought them
I couldn't find the article that state the fate of the last 3 guardians. Can someone give me the enlightment i needed please
kobun20.interordi.com/2013/02/10/fate-of-the-four-guardians/ the MMZ Complete Works had what you were looking for.
I want zero 1.5 now… sigh
I would have liked to see the game as well.
I'm glad this video was able to give you positive memories of the Zero series. And no problem, I plan to keep making videos for a long time!
Also lastly I feel like another missing entry could've been 2 of the ending songs from zero 2 and 3 which kinda tell a story in a way for zero's thoughts on the events at hand during those games,
Like for example with clover (Zero 2's ending vocal theme) it can be inferred that the song was about zero reflecting on the events of the x series and both iris and x.
Fun fact, the Z Knuckle was going to be something Zero made while in the desert, as he didn't have the tools to make advanced weaponry
Also, bringing up Clover and Everlasting Red really would have been a good point, and I actually planned to talk about that, and other things in a video about things I missed on the iceberg.
@@PrimeShiem was this planned for 1.5 or implied for z4?
Megaman Zero 4 was my first Megaman Zero game. I played it and completed Hard mode but when I played Megaman 1,2, & 3, it feels a lot more difficult than 4.
Chun li wants to know if zero “a kid” is packing?????????
That's is NOT what she meant😭😭😭
@@PrimeShiemlmao
As someone who speedruns Metroid: Zero Mission… yeah I got that reference, lol. I feel like it’s referencing a common typo from people who are abbreviating Metroid Zero Mission and/or Mega Man Zero (MZM and MMZ respectively). Zero suit Samus first appears in MZM. Also both MZM and MMZ were released on GBA.
He finally found what he was fighting for...
I guess there was no mention of in Zero 1 GBA the Buster Gun was called the Z Buster for some reason and it was fixed in the DS collection
24:42 that voice sounds like sora more than zero lol
3:54 Holy balls how wrong they were.
what's the image? i wanna take a better look at it
The iceberg image? If so, here's a link to the iceberg. www.reddit.com/r/Megaman/comments/vlcqhy/created_this_mega_man_zero_iceberg_covered_it_on/?
This video sounds like one long run on sentence 😂 great vid tho!
2:45 ITS OMEGA-XIS 😍😍😍
Female zero is something i was glad i never knew
Now you know, sorry.
Female Zero is cute af tho
Just a slight correction at 28:20 the Childre Inarabitta easter egg is actually in Megaman ZX in area F-3. Other than that this was sweet and educational video. I thought Bliss Zero was the community gender reversing Zero you learn something new everyday. In the end this video makes me wish we could get a Zero anime or elf wars or 1.5 game.
Ahh ok thank you! For the life of me I couldn't find him, thought I was tripping! I do still want a Zero anime, and getting 1.5 would be an awesome surprise.
@@PrimeShiem Not a problem happy to help. Who knows maybe we can get an anime adapting 1.5 that would be the next best thing.
The last one is technically canon but I got a few questions (please respond I beg lol)
•Who do you think was there to see zero in space?
•Do you know why they word it like that when saying “the man controlling him”. He’s not Iron man
• how is Ciel GMO.
@@PrimeShiem oh ok. Yeah Duo makes a lot of sense actually now that I think about it. Thx
I never knew that, that's really cool and interesting! Thanks so much for the insight!
Man did I spoil the ending of mega man zero 4 (I dint play the game so I dint know zero would die on the 4ths game)
I'm so sorry to hear that, I wish you had got to experience that on your on.
@@PrimeShiem is okay atleast I don’t know how he dies
Concerned on how bro was able to reply to every comment with at least a heart or reply-
You shouldn't be🌚
SEE YOU DONE IT AGAIN
@@PrimeShiem I've been told you this one is better 🌝
@@MrVibbyyyyy nah🌚
Really wish zero hadnt died. I know the biometals are a thing but man is 4 sad to replay.
IRIS!
Lore of The Mega Man Zero Iceberg Explained momentum 100
so lame the guardian just kinda died didn't know that was the canon explanation to there absence in zero 4. that kinda bums me out
I quite liked the Manga
By the way, another fact
The voice of Ciel, is Tanaka Rie
Who also voices a character in the series HyperDimension Neptunia, that character being the main character of that series Neptune she also voices the other form of this character Purple Heart.
Yeah, I thought the same thing. That's why I have been working on a video covering things I missed or forgot to include on this iceberg.
Also, are you sure about Fefnir being the inspiration for Plug Man? I'd think he'd inspire Magma Man if anyone.
A remake would be cool
11:10 I’ll be honest, I prefer the DS version
I do really badly want an anime for the Zero series, I feel as if just like you said, it'd be really good.
I still wish we had got the original evil X storyline.
Yeah, it woulda been interesting to see play out.
Does it really look this shitty? The sness looks better.
